Both Spurs and Juventus are interested in signing Podolski...

Quote:

"I have been informed about both clubs' interest," Podolski told the Express.

"That is very interesting for me."

He added: "I really want to reach the semi-final. I will only start thinking about the future after that."

You guys are also on a hunt for a GK and a CB. Gardener is expected to leave with Hull reportedly interested in him. Also you guys are going to play a pre-season friendly with Roma on August 10th...

Quote:

Ramos said: "Roma are a good team who will be playing in the Champions League this coming season and so will provide us with a stern test.

"We will try our best to ensure the team put on a good match for the supporters.

"We want to complete our preparation on a high in order to begin the Premier League season in the best way possible."

Some guy on a forum has said about half an hour ago he got a text message from someone In the Know saying we have agreed a fee for Bentley of 10 million rising to 12 depending on apps. He is yet to take a medical.

Id say this would be about 10 percent on a reliability scale. Although things recently do seem to be pointing in the direction of Bentley to Spurs.

What was the posters name?

Ive heard rumours of Podolski or Van Nistelrooy? Shocked Shocked Shocked

Archie on SO says:

De La Red - alternative to Capel on radar.

Bentley - Lennon doesnt want to go to Blackburn as part of the deal

Hudd may be offered.

Apparently 9.5m been offered straight now but no nothin of medical

fingers crossed

and then he says:

we believe we can generate nearly 35m without Berba or Bent leavin.

some of below may stay but good to see money being put to better use

Robbo 4m
Chimbonda 4m
Gardner 2m
Rocha 1.5m
Stalteri 1m
Hudd 6m
Tanio 2m
Kaboul 5m
Lee 2m
Lennon 7m

I'm new here and to be honest i think robbo has been a good GK for us, but a few mistakes have cost him and i reckon hes worth much more than £4M if coupet (35 years old) is £3M, i think tainio is a good player but hasn't got his chance with Ramos, but with Modric and Dos Santos a couple of MF are bound to leave, but i'd like a lot more than 7M for lennon and 6M for Huddlestone, their under 25 with plenty of years left!

Podolski would be a good signing along with Capel and maybe a good central defender and Coupet if we can get him for less than £2.5-£3M, looks like hart and dunne are gonna sign new deals at Man City!

Apparently the Bentley deal is 95 percent done. The only other clubs hed join over us in Manchester United and Liverpool. If you believe some of the websites posting this. Several websites a reporting it the only problem is Harry Hotspur is saying the same thing so i just hope they didnt make it up and people are copying what theyve said.

Also they are saying which im not sure is true that David Bentley was actually a childhood Spurs fan. Confused SO why was he at Arsenal.

Apparently they expect us to sign him within the next 2-4 days.

Also we are rumoured to have agreed a fee with Sporting Lisbon for one of their players. Hope its Veloso. He has recently said hed love a move to Milan, but Milan said yesterday that Adebayor was their only transfer target.

I would blow Levy if we signed Veloso.

Will be well worth it.

We are 3 signings and keeping Berbs away from being a VERY good team.

Class keeper
Solid centerback
World Class defensive mid

Can any of our Italian members translate this its from the Fiorentina official site.

I think it basically means, Uhhhh NO.

Ok heres the question I wanted to ask you Spurs fans...

Now with Ramos going to be in charge for a full season and with his new signings and influence, where do you guys realistically think Spurs will end up after the end of the season??? Any more Trophies???

Also take into account that other teams above you and the teams in the group with you are also signing new players and are trying to improve on the previous season...

With the team as it is i think top 10 at best. If Ramos could bring in 3 more players in the ley positions that we need strengthening i think a top 6 finish and a good run in a cup is on the cards.

Spurs Rumour's
