Rover soften Bentley stance?

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11675_3847922,00.html

Apparently according to Sky, Blackburn are willing to sell David Bentley but at the right price. Its been rumoured that they want 17 million, which is too much money i think, i think we should go for him aslong as we bring in someone who can score with their head if or should i say when Berbatov leaves. Preferablly Mario Gomez or Roman Pavlyuchenko.

Simon Jordan's rant about Bostocks fee only being 700 grand and that not being enough but it has turned out that once Bostcok has made 40 appernaces, the fee will be almost 2 million, there is a 15 percent clause so Crystal Palace will get 15 percent of the transfer. We also have pay them some extra money if he gets an England apperance.

So it really isnt that bad, they could make more than 2 million pounds on a 16 year old.

I hope Ramos isn't going to make an illegal approach for a player under contract to another club.

Im not aware of any players hes tapped up the way SAF has?

How about Bentley......Blackburn insist they do not want to sell him.......so how come rumours abound about Spurs trying to sign him.......it's because they have made an illegal approach......ALL clubs do it.......the significant difference with Ronaldo and Real Madrid is the fact that they have been blatant about it and then they were backed up by Blatter and Platini.

The whole game is awash with HYPOCRISY......they are all at it.......Levy, Calderon, Gill......no club is squeaky clean......so climb down off your high horse Jono.

O right of course i forgot you have to have one of the worlds best strikers to score 20+ goals a season. Rolling Eyes

Roque Santa Cruz 23 goals last season and how much did he cost? 3.5 million.

Benni McCarthy in his first season scored 24 goals and he only cost 2.5 million

Berbatov was 11 million and he scored 20+ two seasons running.

Robbie Keane scored 20+ goals the last two seasons and the past 3 years before that got 16-7 goals each season and he cost 7 million.

Basically Steely what im trying to say is you always blow things out of proportion, we dont need to sign players like Eto'o to get 20 + goals.

The Blackburn Chairman said they'd sell him at the right price though Roo.

Not that i know of, but im clearly not the best player to ask because ive only known properly how transfers work for a mere 3-4 years, as when i was 13 years of age i wasnt as big football fan as i am now and just heard Spurs sign blah blah, Man Utd sign blah blah never heard anything before it was official.
