Hi all. Not such a good season eh?
I have been a Villa fan since I was 8 years old when I went on a school trip to see Aston Villa vs Arsenal (Arsenal, if yer gonna wash yer face you can wash yer Arsenal) (Date:25-04-1979)
I was a little fattie then and only good for the reserve school goal keeper, hence Pat Jennings was my hero. Arsenal were 0-1 up at half time. We were in the North Stand (Witton end I think it was called then) 15 yards to the right of the goal Jennings was keeping in the second half. Villa rolled out 5-1 winners and I was gobsmacked. Any team that could do that to my hero (at the time) was a team worth following and I have done to date. Skip to the end!!! I'm looking for a match report or programme to fill in the gaps (team sheet, scorers etc, did O'leary start?) being so young I took none of that in. Anyone who could help me with this would be a true Villan.

Regards.
