Finished 1-0 Spurs. Ah well, not overly disheartened going out of the Cup at this stage against the quality of opposition we faced this evening and in the first leg. We experimented greatly with players and formations and this brief cup foray should have taught Coppell one or two things about certain players and tactics. I have not been bothered about wither Cup Competition since we arrived in the Premier League and it has been a good chance as i said to use different players that don't achieve regular players in the league lineup. I.E a debut for Alex Pearce and a game for fellow youngster Simon Cox. These lads have been in no way disgraced over these two legs and we should have actually won this game.

Reading 0-1 Tottenham. FT!

Good result considering we made a few changes. To be honest it sounds like Reading probably deserved to win this.

Bring on Man U!

Not really, considering we made far more changes.

Good result i think ... i don't know about readings line up but ours was a bit of a makeshift side and Gunter got his first game and done well .

No Berbs ... No Robinson (has new baby son) ....

so all in all we did well .

now away to Utd .....

I feel we experimented a lot tonight ... so as i understand did reading ....seems our experiment gave the best result on the night .

I know but we were away from home and the clean sheet was the main thing.

Happy with that - a potential banana skin at the madjeski has been avoided and a clean sheet kept.

Sounded as though Gunter done well on his first outing so that's good to hear.

Now Old Trafford where no one will expect anything from us so maybe, just maybe, a little Cup magic can be called upon.

weeee didnt get to see this at all cos I was at a job interview this morning but good to get a win under the belt and advance.

Should be a good match at OT, we have shown in recent years we can really compete there, just been so unlucky with decisions etc going against us, havent been outclassed or thrashed at all.

Heard Gunter had a good game too, he is a rightback preferably I think but is pretty good on the left too, and is left footed IIRC.
