should we be thinking the same way as Reading ?

An improved league position over a possible cup run?

time to try out our 2nd string players and rest our "best players"

Or just go for it ... see how far we can go?

I'm really annoyed i can't make this one, it's going to be the first home game i have missed in a long while. It's another team bar Ingimarsson, Shorey (who is only playing because young Golbourne is cup tied) Cisse, Harper and Convey, a team of those who haven't played a great deal recently as expected. 19 year old Alex Pearce given his debut n the centre of Defence and we will line up in a 4-4-2 formation. Looking just for good performances and a good game tonight with the likes of Rosenior, a player who has not been considered for first team duties for a number of weeks, to force himself back into the bosses thinking.

Can't believe i ain't going. It makes me so angry.

These players are very interchangeable looking at it also, that could easily mould into a 5-4-1 or a 4-5-1 formation depending on the game.

It's on Five Live Sports Extra.

Just put in a brave performance lads and do us proud. Although i don't want to make more trips to Old Trafford than we have to this year.

Lita was one on one with Cerny and a chance to put us a goal up and he throws himself to the ground instead under hardly any contact and receives a yellow card.

The guys a disgrace and i could not give a toss where he ends up.

Spurs 1-0 Robbie Keane.

Get stuffed Lita you waste of breath.

floody are you watching this?

If you are let us know at half time how Gunters peforming and wat position hes playing. Hes a right back and i think hes playing left back so i'm not going to judge his peformance in this game.

Interesting to hear radio commentators come out with things like "Robbie Keane is getting on a bit" and "Things look very bad for Robinson - he hasn't even made the squad this evening". People who do this for a living really should be more well informed. Smile

Sounds like a decent game so far. It sounds like Kaboul has been a bit error-prone and we're fortunate that Lita didn't score; apart from that we seem to have things under control. Reading won't give up though...

The guy watching the Reading v Spurs game on SSN has said that gunter hasn't put a foot wrong and has stopped Rosenior at almost every time hes tried to go past Gunter.

Rosenior is a right back by trade who hasn't played in a while though Yobs.

Sounds like we woke up a little defensively after that first goal.

1-0 Halftime and dissapointed to be going in behind. By all accounts it has been an even game with Spurs perhaps looking a little more comfortable on the ball. Ridicolous play from Lita one on one with Cerny in the 13th minute where he attempts to lob the on rushing keeper and falls down in a pathetic heap and gets a yellow for diving. Sounds like a bit of a wake up call after the Keane header which came about after an Adam Federici save went out to Keane who just nodded in. From that point however we sounded far more flexible in defence and Pearce and De La Cruz seem to have worked out some kind of man marking system on Keane and Defoe respectively. Long sounds like he is giving Spurs a little bit of a fright with Cisee also doing well.

Spurs v Reading
