Ajax lose after penalties

Ajax have lost to Inter after penalties on Saturday. The score after 90 minutes was 2-2 in the friendly match in Dubai. Kenneth Perez and John Heitinga scored for Ajax.

Edgar Davids began the first match of the Mohammed bin Rashid International Football Championship as Ajax's captain. After 35 minutes the midfielder was taken off as was agreed before the match. It were the first minutes for Davids since he broke his leg in a friendly match in the preseason. For goalscorer Perez it was his first match since his return to Ajax.

Julio Ricardo Cruz scored for Internazionale in the 16th minute. Kenneth Perez equalised two minutes later. Ajax took the lead in the second half when John Heitinga converted a penalty after 66 minutes. In the 70th minute, it was again Cruz who scored for Inter. After 90 minutes the sides were still level: 2-2.

In the necessary penalty series Jan-Arie van der Heijden, Kennedy and Heitinga missed their spot kick. For Inter only Cruz missed, so the Italians play for first place in the Dubai Cup on Monday.

I was really cheering for Ajax in that one, it will be enough bad when Inter wins Scudetto and probably also the Coppa Italia, i'll really apreciate if our Inter beat them in final

It was really ashame we lost it with penaltys.
But yea good news was that perez Leonardo and Davids wher back!!!

Ajax have come in fourth in the Mohammed bin Rashid International Football Championship. The team lost to VfB Stuttgart by 1-0.

Ajax played with ten for most of the match, as Hedwiges Maduro was sent off after only six minutes.
He pulled down Stuttgart forward Sergiu Radu when he had broken through and maduro was shown an immediate red card. Down to ten players, Ajax did little more han defend in the first half. Only Leonardo created some chances for his team.

Ajax played considerably better in the second half, escpecially when Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Luis Suarez and Kenneth Perez were brought on after an hour. Despite the numerical disadvantage, Adrie Koster's squad created some good chances. But with two minutes to play, VfB Stuttgart gained the upper hand. Substitute Alexander Farnerud fired the ball past Dennis Gentenaar from distance.

Juventus
and Inter Milano lost 2-1 for Internacional, the second goal was amazing. Nilmar, ex-Lyon and Corinthians player scored with a half-bycicle kick

Haha...Oh well we lost the tournament..But we won with our players...Im so glad Davids and Leonardo are back..
So i dont really care that we lost.
