hey guys check this out..this is linesman's favourite song TIME AFTER TIME I'M GOING IN BLIND...ooooooops another mistake so let them play i just want to listen my mp3 player... TIME AFTER TIME....
but to be honest Spurs were better in the first half, our defense were absolutely horrible..those senderos's errors were funny I hope he is ijured and will be substituted because his performance is a one big nightmare so we need to improve in second half or I will eat my dust |

It's not been that much of a bother really. The goal was fair in my eyes. It was tight, but if in doubt the attacking player should get the go-ahead. It was a nice goal, terrible defending from Senderos though and quite weak from Djourou. As I said, this is a weakened Arsenal side and that is highly evident. Gilberto has been poor as well, whilst Diaby tries too much. Nobody really going to stamp down any class in Midfield like Cesc does, to help control the game. We've played some decent stuff and made some good opportunities but Spurs have been marginally better. I expect us to improve second half, but this is Spurs' tie. They'll go through to the final as they look sure and strong, whilst our weakened sections on the pitch are struggling to combine. |

I think the ref has been spot on so far.... Can't wait for the second half.

1-1. Theo Walcott!

A draw, as predicted.
Surprised at the lack of urgency from Spurs. They had the edge over us and could have won the game. They seemed to hesitate too much for me. But they did miss some sitters. Defoe's being the funniest. Poor performance from Arsenal. All over the place at the back. As I said pre-game, evidently weakened. Senderos should have stayed at home, Djourou wasn't up to it tonight, Traoré had his moments and Hoyte was average. The subs changed the game for us and that's how that is a "weakened" Arsenal side. Look at the difference Sagna and Eduardo made. Sagna's physical presence, great defending and superb wing play brought us back into the game. Walcott was able to go inside more and look at the goal - Eduardo (sub) slides Walcott through and it's 1-1. Spurs should be disappointed, we were lucky. Senderos needs to go; Gilberto can't play part-time football; Djourou needs to step it back up a level; Traoré needs to play it simple; Diaby needs to stop overdoing it. The only starting player I can really credit is Bendtner. He was excellent. |

Yet again the Yids are unable to beat our kids! They deserved more but of course this was a second string side and for a team that claimed to be playing CL next season at the start of this season should be turning over young defenders like Senderos and Djourou. Will be interesting at White Fart Lane.. I hope Wenger puts out a better side just because it's Spurs... but he wont... still might beat them with kids like last season. |

Got home in time to watch it from about the 55th minute on. Walcott's goal was great. Brilliant run and great pass from Eduardo.
Tottenham looked a bit shell shocked after Walcott's goal. Wasted a bit of time and settled for the draw. Hope Walcott's ankle is ok. |

Spurs could have won if they had of showed more urgency to get forward. I guess they were worrying about the Arsenal counter-attack considering their 0-1 lead going to WHL for the 2nd leg was healthy.
How Spurs failed to score a second against Senderos, Djourou and Gilberto on that performance is unbelievable. Either they bottled it or were just terribly unlucky. Defoe definitely bottled his open netter. |

Hey, don't get so cocky. We were lucky tonight and if we perform like that at the Lane, we're out. |

Too bad we play on Tuesday while Chelsea v Everton is on Wednesday. Wish it was the other way around, so Chelsea would advance and it'll give our boys a little more urgency (which is what they need) to play harder to make it to the finals again to get some revenge on Chelsea.
And hopefully Diarra will be in for Gilberto at WHL. Denilson/Diarra partnership was a hell of a lot better than the Denilson/Gilberto. And I don't think Wenger will bring Sagna with him after that little injury scare. Might be Clichy's turn. |

It shouldnt of counted! Again we deserved and should of won a game at the emirattes this season, Defoe i think has just ruined his chances of a new contract that miss near the end, please come on if you want to be a striker at any premiership club you have to finish those. MOTM: Tough one this but id have to give it to ledley king, superb today bendtner one a few headers against him but hed win headers against any defender, i dont think there is any argument King was awesome throughout. O'Hara did well as did Lennon, Dawson, lee did excellent against Walcott, Berbatov aswell. And the rest were very good there wasnt a poor peformer on the pitch for Spurs. Decent game i thought very even possesion and now we have a home leg where its all to play for. I'd love to see us get thru but i can see us cracking under the pressure. Maybe that game will give us our first glimse of new signings( hopefully ) Although it wasnt Arsenals first squad, they still had attacking players like Van Persie, Eduardo, Bendtner, Walcott, and other good players like Diaby and Denilson i think our defence didnt outstanding any of the teams not in the big 4 would love to have players like that in there first team so if our defence can play like that every week i think we have a good chance of climbing the table and hopefully finishing top half dare i say it top 8 maybe europe(or maybe not that high) Our best chance of europe id through winning europe i think. Do you uefa cup from winning the Carling Cup? If so hopefully we get thru play Chelsea so it doesnt matter if we loose wed probably still have uefa cup aslong as Chelsea finished top 4 which is most likely. Cerny really gave Robbo a lesson on how to give a solid uneventful peformance, although he wasnt brilliant was solid and didnt look like dropping a clanger like robbo looks like everytime he goes up for a catch or punch. I think Ramos was pleased with what he saw there from Radek and will give him the chance in our next 3 or 4 games and if he remains consistant maybe he will keep him goals for the rest of the season. His decision making was top notch completely different from Robbos, paul seems like he makes the wrong decision on every thing he does apart from those long kicks and throw outs we missed those Radek is no where near robbo on that front but id prefer not to concede sloppy goals than get a few goals from long kicks or throws from the keeper. Its all to play for at White Hart Lane. COYS! |

Doesn't look like Diarra is satisfied. I bet Wenger sticks with Gilberto. He was awful tonight as well. Just hope he wakes up and improves for the next tie. Sagna has to play. That Defence is too weak and Clichy won't strengthen it too much if he was brought in. |
