Bournemouth could be set to go into administration after the League One club lodged a notice of intention to appoint an administrator.

Accountancy firm BDO Stoy Hayward is now working with the Cherries' directors in an advisory capacity.

Chairman Jeff Mostyn stressed in a club statement that "the club is not in administration and it is not a foregone conclusion that it will be".

Bournemouth are bottom of League One with only five league wins this season

Breaking news on BBC FOOTBALL, hope it does not happen as it is a shame to see nay club go into that kind of state.

Commiserations to Bournemouth fans, I know from recent experience how awful this is (Luton fan). Good luck with everything.

I don't know anything really about your situation but with us it seems it might turn out to be a good thing long term as it has allowed us to get rid of the slimy (er, no swearing) who have been running the club into the ground for the past ten years and get in a new consortium who seem to have the club's interests at heart. Hope things work out well for you too!
