id love to see this big 4 mentality broken but it wont be done in one season. it would take a couple of consistently good seasons from the rest of the league and equally a couple of bad seasons from Liverpool or other big 4 team.

i just cant see it happening consistently though which is why i will still go with Liverpool.

OK, so Villa do have a fairly small squad. But the carrot of securing CL football next season would mean they could secure the services of better quality footballers who seek to play in the CL.

No team I promise you, would give up the chance to finish fourth - small squad or not.

I can actually see Everton achieving it. It'll be disastrous for Liverpool who are not only trying to qualify for the EC, but trying to establish themselves as a top 4 Club.
