Egypt or Morocco for me so far. They are the only two teams to have produced performances out undoubted class, albeit Morocco were facing Namibia, but Egypt were cool, calm, composed and technically flawless in their win over Cameroon.

sorry to dissapoint you ,you guys know next to nothing about African football the best game I have seen so far is Nig- Civ and those two teams will make the final Cameroon is in dissarey they hired a coach 4wks to this turnament and the journy man coach with a masiv alcohol problem who cannot coach a division 6 club in his country was imposed on the team by the the president of cameroon Poul Biya
So it is not Egypt that was playing well it was cameroon that was playing awful
As for Morroco and egypt in the final I have to say that is the joke of the century

hhaha the nigerian you are in need of a footballing education my friend..it is you who doesnt know anything about african football..you are still tuck in the 1994 era when the nigerian team was great...and i emphasise WAS!!!..If you think cameroon were in disarray just take a good long hard look at your so called 'super eagles'. the nigerian team looks like they dont care...they get paid thousands a week in england why would they want to break a leg for nigeria..thts the attitude your players have. NIGERIA IS NO LONGER A TEAM TO BE FEARED...i am more worrired about guinea than nigeria to be perfectly honest with you. I think you will find that the joke of the century is your nigerian team.

You are the joke mate. I know plenty about African football thanks and to say Nigeria Vs IC was the best game is ludicrous and a joke.

Nigeria will not win this tournament.

Egypt and Morocco are better footballing sides.

I know it's a bit late (3rd round) but my favourite is Ivory Coast. Lots of good players: Drogba, Kalou, Boka, Dindane, Toure brothers, Eboue etc. I hope they will win ACN, but I'm afraid of Egypt and Ghana.

Ivory Coast comprehensively through and Nigeria scrape in after IC 3-0 Mali and Nigeria 2-0 Benin.

Comfortable for Ivory Coast. A gulf in class between them and Mali. Kanouté was dreadful again and Keita couldn't do much.

Nigeria still lucky I feel. Took Yakubu long enough to hit the net and little Benin gave them a long hard fought game.

Not even full strength, Ivory Coast look great.

But I think that Nigeria don't have any chances against Ghana...

Nigeria struggle for goals and the Ghana Midfield will destroy them.

Agree, Ghana have one of the best defensive midfielders all over the world (Essien, of course).

Faé was impressive yesterday.

Congratulations to Samuel Eto'o on breaking the top scorers record in the ACN! Although it was a penalty, it's a nice achievement.

Yeah i thought Fae looked decent too.

I'm very glad that Senegal, and Sonko more importantly, are probably coming home! If they are eliminated there is talk of him being considered for Saturday.

Can't see Senegal getting through, so could be nice for you.

Our missing players are all going to the quarters. Alex Song has been quite impressive in that defensive role in Midfield. Eboué has been average and Touré is injured.

Bikey was quite good tonight.

He's been generally good throughout. He's a great defender when he wants to be. He just needs to gain that extra experience and know how to improve his mistakes and occasional inconsistency.
