this match will shape the rest of this nations cup for both teams.
should morocco win they will qualify for the second round with a game to spare and also end guinea's hopes of qualification.
However, should morocco somehow lose then things will be very very nervy for morocco as they will have to beat ghana in the final game whereas guinea will fancy their chances over lowly namibia. So tomorow will be of vital importance to both nations. good luck morocco.

what do you think the outcome will be.

A firm Moroccan win. They, Guinea, offered very little against Ghana, who i think did not win by a greater margin due to perhaps nerves on the opening day at being the hosts and the pressures of putting in a good performance on a terrible pitch etc. Morocco dispatched Namibia in fine form and are a side full of great technical ability.

Morocco 4-0 Guinea.

Guinea are 1-0 up at half time! Missed the first half hour but judging on the last 15 it is an even, spicy game.

My word two goals in under a minute for each side see the score at 2-1 with half an hour left. Good movement and composure from Bangoura for Guinea whilst a lack of closing down from them saw a real scorcher from a Moroccan Midfielder (i forgot who it was) saw them bounce right back. First class goal.

EDIT: Penalty for Guinea! Feiundono scores it, great penalty.

3-1 to Guinea!

Why is Chamakh not starting?!

What a game this is!

After two goals Feiundouno was sent off for an unnecessary stamp!

Morocco throwing the kitchen sink at Guinea!

No red card for the throwing the kitchen sink? Laughing

Too bad, I'm at work. Sad I missed all the games yesterday and today. And ESPN isn't doing a gamecast on it.

Finished 3-2 to Guinea in the end, after a late consolation goal for the Moroccans. One of the most entertaining games of the tournament so far without a doubt. 5 Goals, a sending off, a penalty and lots of tough tackles and lots of rivalry all over the pitch. Guinea moved the ball very well and defended doggedly at times whilst the Moroccans looked very out of sorts. Struggling to find any real sort of rhythm for much of the game, which is very unlike them.

Guinea could now make the next round. Pressure is on Morocco in their final group game against the hosts, Ghana.

I think it's far more obvious and embarrassing for you that you are from Africa and clearly know next to nothing about African football.

Guinea did not offer a great deal against Ghana you moron. They flittered in and out of the game and were extremely wasteful whenever they had the ball in the final third.

So why don't you stop embarrassing yourself with terrible posts and teenage mood swings and get off the forum?

All I can say is the fear of THE SUPER EAGLES is the begining of succsess which means never write off the SUPER EAGLES of Nigeria

potencial groupe qualifiers

Group A Ghana and Guinea I dont see Morrocco going through , the Noth Africans have never done well in west Africa and Guinea are in very good form right now the other teams in this group may not be able to deal with thier skill.

Group B Nigeria and Ivory coast , Mali will have a lot to say on who gose through but I think that is as far as they will be able to go .

Group C this is one groupe that will be a bit difficult to call Egypt might squeeze though along with Cameroon but with Zambia and Sudan peaking in form and Cameroon deeping in form the groupe is wide open and anything can happen

Group D I will give this group to Senegal and Tunisa , Senegal becouse they seem the strongest on paper and angola and south Africa are just not Nations cup marterial and dont seem to have the pedigree to handel Senegal and Tunisa
This is my prediction for the group faze of the turnament .

With the winner of groupe A meeting the runners up of groupe B and vis va sa Ghana will have to contend with eather Nigeria of Ivory coast I dont see Ghana beating any of these two teams the cup wiiner is between Mali , Ivory cost Guienie and Nigeria

Am sure you can seethe date on this postits here under the thread Africa nations cup draw so if I say you know next tonothing about African footbal dont argue just bow your head and shut the F up

You are really getting boring now.

I know plenty about African football and you are an obvious melodramatic idiot with a real chip on his shoulder that a person not from Africa should criticise an overrated declining Nigeria side and willing other teams to do well.

You actually border on racist.

You disgust me.

the nigerian please stop your childishness..this post is about the morocco - guinea game and not for your rubbish

todays match agasint guinea was shocking performance from the atlas lions.Never have i seen a moroccan defence as shaky as the one today. Henri Michel had better hope we make the second round or he will be in for some serious questions when he gets back to morocco. I have a huge amount of respect for mr Michel however his team selection today was nothing short of shocking. We already lost our star man Sofiane Alloudi to injury and the last thing we needed was keeping our star striker Marouane Chamakh on the bench. Secondly, why the hell didnt our captain talal el karkouri pay..he is our rock in defence and a loyal servant to the morocca people and i am bemused why he didnt start, he would have definately prevented Guinea's second goal. Furthermore we had talent on the bench such as yousseff mokhtari who didnt even feature. I am very surprised that a team of morocco's quality is producing this sort of rubbish. All members of the sqaud must take full responsibility if we fail to make round 2. Herni michel you bettr start praying because believe you me the moroccan press are not the kindest. Having said that, if morocco step up to what we can do and use our best players i feel we can topple ghana as they only managed to beat namibia 1-0 and are likely to rest key players for round 2 for which they have already qualified.

So you have a vast knowleage of African football ?
Then how do you explain this then ? Were you analyseing the match or were you letting your emmotions get the better of you ? anybody who says that Guinea will lose to Morrocco by 4goals DEFINATELY knows nothing about African football Morrocco have allways had a bad record when it comes to playing a west african team they (Morrocco) came to the last nations cup without wining a game or scoreing a goal so when you said Guinea will lose by four goals what were you baseing your assumsons on ? If you were saying that Ghana were nervous becouse it was the first game of the turnament and that they were feeling the presure of playing at home could Guinea too not be under the same presure of playing the host country in the first game of the turnament ? you got the flack from me becouse you claim to know the AFRICAN game when you clearly dont , and I have not read a post from you acknolageing that you got it wrong and that was why you got another flack from me .
And why should I be racsit towords you I dont know you , you have an African country´s flag with your post which means you could be African , but for me you could me Green for all I care you got the flack from me for what you wrote not becouse of were you come from

Wrong !! Ghana dose not want to play the Ivorians so they will try and top the groupe which means they will play to win or atlist get a draw so I still stand by what I wrote two months ago from this groupe Guinea and ghana are going through and Morrocco and Namibia are going home

Wow so i got the prediction wrong... whoopy de doo. It's common knowledge that this tournament is notoriously hard to predict.

So grow up and try to get rid of that chip on your shoulder eh?

There's a good lad.

He's all to happy to sit on the bench on his monsterous (for us) wages which doesn't impress me. Ageing abit and lost his appeal but the big man is a cult hero at Celtic. I salute you Dianbobo Balde but I think it's best for all parties involved that you move on.

Make sure he doesn't find out where I live
