Would be brillliant if we could. Will be very close i think 1 goal in it.

If King plays we have a chance.
If he doesnt we have no chance.

If we play our strongest team then I reckon we've got a decent chance.

Don't forget we beat Chelsea last season at WHL and would have beaten them at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup if Martin Jol didn't bottle it. I know they beat us two weeks ago but we had Jenas and Huddlestone both missing in midfield - meaning we had to play the two youngsters O Hara and Boateng.

My head says Chelsea but sod it, I'll predict 2-1 Spurs! Smile

Sorry guys but never under estimate Chelea. I'd like to see Spurs win BUT my prediction will be a great game going into extra time....

Spurs 2 - 3 Chelsea

I'm sure beating Arsenal by a massive 5 - 1 will make up for that loss though eh? Wink

Ehh, I would think beating Arsenal would be a moot point if they can't finish the job and win the finals. Ramos did state winning the Carling Cup was his priority.

I'm going to go for Spurs 2-0. I think all the neutrals will be going for the Yids which could be a boost

30 minutes extra time, then penalty kicks.

Chelsea have been ruthlessly efficient in a great deal of games in recent months.

I think they'll win it 2-1.

Full 30 minutes (15 minute halfs). No more golden goal.

I reckon Chelsea will win. I'd imagine Grant will be going all out to get his first trophy done and dusted... not to mention the fact Chelsea love this competition anyway. A full strength Chelsea side will be very difficult to beat.

If Tottenham do win, taking a UEFA Cup place away, it'd make things all the more interesting up the table as well. And i hope Spurs do win, to stop the Arsenal/Chelsea dominance of late.

ok ..changed the title of topic as more appropriate ..

as for the result i think Tottenham have every chance of winning the final , Ramos will know a win will have a knock on effect for his team ...lose and well a dissapointing season it will have been in terms of success ..and no european football next season ....is that correct ...or will they qualify anyway due to Chelsea being in Champion League. ?

i`ll go for a 2-1 win to Spurs with a controversial penalty in the last 2 minutes deciding the result .

I just hope we can get through unscathed on Thursday night with no new injury worries - despite leading by one goal from the first leg in Prague, we need to make sure and can't hold back despite the Final being at the back of our minds.

Sunday is going to be a very tough game, and quite possibly a close scoreline - I hope the Spurs clinch it 2-1.

Thing is we have a really important game on thursday, so then we get little rest before the final, Chelsea have such strength in depth that he can afford to leave out Terry Lampard and Anelka for there game tonight and they get a longer rest and preperation time for the final. So everything points towards a Chelsea win:

Extra rest time
Extra Preperation time
Terry coming back
Lampard coming back
All there African players coming back

The only thing we have going is we could of sold our allocation of tickets 10 times over, i dont know if Chelsea even sold all there tickets.

But anyways im going for a 3-0 Spurs win. Very Happy

Also Gilberto has said he would love to get on the pitch for the final, but i doubt he'll be included to make his debut in such a big game for us.

Nah we got the uefa cup in the bag, so its all good.

Am i right in saying there could be 6 English teams in the uefa cup at the beggining next season, lets say

5th get it.
6th get it.
The Fa Cup final turned out to be Chelsea v Man Utd so 7th got it.
Chelsea win the Carling Cup so 8th get it.
We win the Uefa Cup so we get it.
And then another team get into the intertoto cup win it and then qualify for the it.

Could that happen, then nots rule out all the 4 English teams in the CL finishing 4th in there group and getting uefa cup football then there would be 10. lol Razz
