actually there was a really funny story that happened in 1996 when i was manager of Newcs and we were 12 points ahead of Man Utd , i lost the plot on worldwide tv and then so did my team , it was hilarious. well at the time it wasnt but looking back when i watch the video of me going red in the face and saying ' id love it if we beat them' me and the missus crack up at how plum crazy i looked.
And the best bit was after all that we still didnt win the league
