Twente to Germany???

FC Twente are exploring the possibility of playing their home games in Germany while their own Arke Stadium is redeveloped.

The Eredivisie club has expressed an interest in using the Arena Auf Schalke in Gelsenkirchen, just over the border, as their temporary home ground.

Twente spokesman Richard Peters told Tubantia newspaper: "At the end of February we will have the definitive building plans.

"When we know the plans we will see if it is necessary to find a temporary stadium to play our home games."

Dutch football's governing body, KNVB, has no objections to the possibility.

I hope this is working cause we also have to play against them in march. Then we going to germany.And since ajax is not in the CL or UC anymore would be great!!!

The world is going crazy. Everyone wants to move out of their own countries so it seems now, with what is going on in England. I don't know, but have a look at this:

Twente to Germany.
Wimbledon to Milton Keynes has already happened.
Man United to Tokyo.
Liverpool to Dubai.
Chelsea to Miami.
Arsenal to Sydney.

I just hope they move Ajax to London, haha then it will be easier for me to see the games.

haha no way man... AFCA is not for London football club Ajax, But AMSTERDAM football club Ajax.
And about the rest you are kidding right? Liverpool In dubai?

Twente is only moving to Germany cause they wanna rebuild ther stadium i think.

Its going to happen in 2011. It will kill the game in England once this global premier English league happens. They want to do one game a season, then they it will become 2 games then 3 games. Before you know it half of the season will be being played abroad. It will kill the game here though and I think a lot of people will lose interest here in England if this goes ahead.

So why is that gonna happend? Liverpool is a english team and not a dubai team right?
I dont hope this ever gonna happend in Holland

Would you really like it if Liverpool is in Dubai? I also hate Feyenoord (as you know ) but i wouldnt like it if they are out of the eredivisie (i think...or maybe just for 1 year a league down )
The thing is....I cant live with them..but i also cant live without them.
The matches like ajax-feyenoord are just amazing. same with Liverpool i think or not?
