Big win for Australia and good to see Iraq and China draw.

If you can somehow see highlights of the Japan - Thai game you will be treated to two absolutely brilliant goals. One a freekick and one out of nothing, about 25 yards out.

Laughing Well look at some of the countries that were playing. A group of football players on this forum put together to make a team could probably beat a couple of them. hehe. I'm sure many people on this forum don't even know half of the countries listed in the first round. Laughing

Iraq can actually go on to the final qualifying phase if they pull a win against Qatar. Looking good for the Asian champions after Fifa lifted the ban.

Iraq can advance with a draw as well, as they have the advantage in GD.

Yeah didn't think of it that way, but hopefully Qatar won't thrash them like they did in their first match. They really need to qualify for the World Cup

Was a good performance by Australia in the heat.

Emerton scored two and Kewell scored one, with another one being ruled out.

Great to have the group qualification wrapped up with a game to spare.

China at home in a week or two to finish the first group phase.
