HENRI MICHEL SACKED.

Moroccan FA has decieded today to sack henri michel with immediate effect and without compensation after morocco's disgraceful showing at the african nations cup. He had only been in the job for 5 months.

Morocco don't have the qualities. There are only a few areas on the pitch where they are truly strong.

They certainly don't match up to the likes of Ghana, Ivory Coast, Egypt and Cameroon.

I had a lot of hope for the Moroccans heading into this tournament yet they were bitterly disappointing when it really mattered.

This sacking is no real shock.

They relied on Chamakh through the middle who is a promising player, but he never really delivered.

stories are emerging that there was a heated exchange between michel and moroccan captain talal el karkouri which split the squad into 2 camps for the duration of the tournament...those who played their football outside morocco and thos who play their trade inside morocco...morocco has quality players such as chamakh,sektioui,hadji,alloudi and the next star of moroccan football mbark boussouffa who unfortunately missed the tournament through injury. Thank god henri michel has left.
