Shock win for Cameroon against the hosts.

Bikey got sent off for pushing over a member of the medical staff when he was attending to his Captain. Laughing

Ivory Coast should hold out a neat win over Egypt and are too strong for Cameroon in the final.

It's all due to the brilliant play of Alexandre SONG!!!!! hahahaha.

No really I have no idea. But this is good news for Chelsea I guess, they get Essien back a bit early.

Alex Song was superb throughout the competition.

It's typical for us though, our players are there to the very latest. And I can see Touré and Eboué staying there until the final also.

Not that we're missing Song too much. Razz

All of our boys in the final (pending Ivory Coast's victory in the semi). Will be good for us confidence wise. They'll get an early taste of how it feels to be in the finals and at least one will feel the feeling of winning a final. It'll just make them hungrier for the Arsenal campaign.

Not the first time either.

I remember Lauren winning the Cup for Cameroon not so long ago.

I'm just embarassed and ashamed watching that incident, i was annoyed at missing the game but just caught the highlights. This is precisely why were a little reluctant to sign Bikey first off, because his temperament can flare wildly at random moments. Its a damn shame because Bikey is a talented young centre back, if a little rough round the edges at times, who can also play in a Midfield role. And with us playing liek we are currently he could of come back after the final of this tournament and perhaps even won a place in the side. Coppell will be extremely disappointed to put it lightly. The man he pushed was doing nothing wrong and it was utterly stupid.

I don't understand what was going through his head when he did that. His team was winning. Missing the final is a fitting punishment.

Andre Bikey Laughing Laughing

What a complete fcukin idiot. Dcikhead even. There was absolutely no reason to act like that. He team was winning, the medic was helping his captain and he was going to play in the biggest match of his life.

Without wanting to generalise, it was typical african tribe behaviour. He'll regret it for the rest of his life.

There's a link to the video clip in the 'On yer Bikey' thread in General Football.

He walked over to a member of the medical staff and threw him to the floor. The medical dude was on the pitch with a team dealing with Rigobert Song I think.

Maybe he thought the ghanaen medic was feeding voodoo( spell?) to his captain Laughing Laughing
I heard in Africa, ppl believe in mysticism and that the only thing which could explain his behavior.
