Newly promoted Southern Side Grays Athletic are off to an excellent start in the National Conference and look like key contenders for the title champions of the league already this early into the season. They have played six games and racked up 14 points in the process(4 wins and 2 draws) Including a magnificent 6-1 home win over Gravesend and a suprising 2-0 away win against title fauvorites Heroford. I remember last season when i saw Grays come to Priory Lane to play my local side Eastbourne, they were such a good side, which completely dominated the Conference South. I cant believe that there is quite a reasonable chance that next season Ex-European champions Notts Forest(now doing poorly in League 1) could be playing high-flying Grays in League 2, who only last season were playing the likes of Eastbourne. From Eastbourne Borough to Nottingham Forest, lol-what an achievment that would be.
