Billy Celeski has quit Perth and returned home to play for MVFC and is eligible for ACL, Adrian Caceres was signed by Mariners but at this stage it looks like he'll play ACL for Vicotry.

Yeah we have the 2004 northern irish u-21 cpatain Terry McFlynn at sydney and bridges scored 2 goals in limited oppurtunities really.

Other transfer stuff is that mass murdocca and robbie kruse are going to FC Twente whilst Reinaldo looks to be departing so farina wants to sign dez giraldi. MVFC want to sign Stefan Moore formerly of villa and QPR (dumb idea, waste of time) and david zdrillic was talking of coming to melbourne but that won't happen.

Archie Thompson.

And Juninho is finished with Sydney unless they re-sign him (I think it was only for this season). Sydney got knocked out of the finals - Juninho didn't play, suffered an injury earlier in the week at training.

Talay leaves Sydney's shores

Quote:
Just days after bowing out of the Hyundai A-League finals series, Sydney FC has received more bad news with veteran Ufuk Talay deciding to end his three-year stint with the club.

Talay, who has been with Sydney FC since its establishment as a foundation team of the Hyundai A-League in 2005, will move to Japan to play for second division team Avispa Fukuoka.

The 31-year-old described his time in the harbour city as 'easily the happiest and most exciting of my career'.

"I'm leaving Sydney FC with some great memories. I'm a Sydney boy and I've been lucky to play for my home club in the first three years of the A-League," Talay said.

"In three years we won the Club World Championships tournaments in Australia and Tahiti (Oceania) and represented Australia in Japan at the World Club Championships, we won the first ever Grand Final and we went to Asia to play Champions League."

"It has been a great three years and hopefully after my time in Japan I will be able to come back and be involved at Sydney FC."

Jets have signed Patafta. He played in a trial the other night and was the standout. Very good touches and quick feet with good vision.

Here is Nathan Burns with his AEK Athens strip after moving from Adelaide.

Former Brazilian international midfielder Amaral has signed with Australian A-League club Perth Glory for next season, the club said Sunday.

Amaral, who played 31 times for Brazil between 1995 and 1996, brings a wealth of playing experience to the West Australian club having played with Brazilian giants Palmeiras and Corinthians, Portugal's Benfica and Italian Serie A outfits Parma and Fiorentina.

The defensive midfielder, who won a bronze medal playing for Brazil at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, recently joined Perth Glory on their pre-season tour of Indonesia and made a positive impression on coach Dave Mitchell.

"Amaral is a wonderful footballer, he's the type of player we've been missing in the last couple of seasons," Mitchell said in a statement. "His interplay with the rest of the team after just a short time is outstanding and all the lads have taken to him straight away and can see that he is a special player.

"He will be a terrific addition to the squad and Glory fans will definitely enjoy watching him play."

The Brazilian joins Glory's other international recruits including Argentine attacking midfielder Adrian Trinidad, Cτte d'Ivoire striker Eugene Dadi and Australian goalkeeper Frank Juric, who is returning home after a decade in the German Bundesliga.

Euguene Dadi was a class act for Aberdeen

Gumprecht and Osman have re-signed with the Mariners. Gumps was training with us and looking to sign on an injury waiver but he went back down the Coast.

Heard about that. Mark Bosnich will be wonderful, granted only a few years left back in the tank but I really hope for his sake and Australian football's he can get back on the path to success. He has come along way since the cocaine incident.
