I meant to say "thanks" stupid keyboard...

Anyway, bad decision putting in Kewell for Babel...

Now... Okay... for once and for all... it's official...

WE DO NOT HAVE ANY DISTRACTIONS FROM OTHER COMPETITIONS! We're just playing for 4th and the CL now... I think we can afford to field a regular team now...

I thought Jeff Stelling was going to keel over when that goal went in. He was shouting for about two or three minutes.

Sounds like a heroic debut performance from Tykes keeper Luke Steele.

Theres a programme over here called Soccer Saturday that have ex footballers watching games and giving updates from around the games. Jeff Stelling presents it.

What a fantastic game Barnsley keeper had, if he never plays again what a story to tell his grankids.

have in said that at the moment i dont think we could score in an empty goal from 6ft.

Yeah, I was watching that too. Everyone was screaming with delight, then the camera focussed on Pinocchio Phil Thompson head down looking upset. Brilliant! Very Happy

Apparently, Barnsley had an absolute stick on penalty just moments before the winner. Ref bottled it in front of the Kop.

LMAO it was me you're right, sorry guys Embarassed

It's a strange feeling for me,i have supported Liverpool for over 20 years but being a Barnsley lad i am so proud for the town of Barnsley, they found us out knowing we are completely useless at taking our chances then caught us on the break twice, congratulations to Barnsley Very Happy

Well Done Barnsley! Im not even surprised we lost, but when will Rafa learn? Yes i know we have a big game tuesday night but by ignoring todays game he has put even more pressure upon himself. Premiership-Over, Carling Cup-Out, FA Cup-Out. So now we only have the Champions lge to play for putting his job under more and more pressure. If we dont win Tuesday i wont be surprised if he's sacked and tbh i wont really care if he is. This year we were credited as "Title Contenders" by many including myself but what a joke! Our starting 11 is not far off but our squad is simply not strong enough for the rotation policy which he insists to use.

i know how you feel mate, but the team we had out should have easily won, we had all the possession and all the chances, they scored two fantastic goals, and yet again we can't find the back of the net

Excellent win for Barnsley

Very well played. Excellent defending by Barnsley and some brilliant saves from their keeper.

Liverpool abysmal form continues but now they are bringing it to their cup competitions. I've been giving Liverpool some stick of late but this is an appalling display of football by Liverpool. Is it time to sack Rafa? I think there were several mistakes in his selection today, and he underestimated the opposition.

Where has Ben gone?

Yes the team SHOULD have won, but whenever i see Kuyt and Crouch up front i really cannot see us scoring , its simple if Torres is fit he has to play.

Barnsley hadn't won in 12 away matches before today.

So what were these mistakes? I don't think he made any real mistakes in the team selection today - although i personally wouldn't have Kuyt anywhere near a Liverpool shirt at the moment.

F** off. That's all i ever hear, and it's incredibly tiresome.

No, there was no reason to play Torres today. Resting him was the right decision. Against a team as sh*t as Barnsley you shouldn't go playing our star striker just a few days before the Inter game when he's recovering from an injury.

If he played him and got injured again and missed the Inter game, he would've been crucified. That would've been a mistake.

There was no mistake in the team selection. We were just pish poor.

Liverpool vs. Barnsley
