Fcukin b4stard ref!!! Chimbonda was blatantly fouled before they scored, it was a stick on! Referee is letting everything go and Slavia know it.

Typical Spurs this is. Never leave things easy. Chimbonda off injured, could be a doubt for the Carling Cup final Rolling Eyes

Prague hit the post and now they have a corner.

Why is this game the same as the last one we dominate first half and look awful in the second hal.

We're hanging on here, Yobster!!

We look a completely different side without Berbatov. Fcukin hell, two great blocks stop what looks like the inevitable and to be frank deserving equaliser for Slavia Prague.

Bent hits cross bar again this time deflected shot loops onto bar, Kaboul with towering header over the bar from resulting corner.

We've just beaten the Czech Rep league leaders, and now we face the Dutch league leaders PSV.

It doesn't get any easier!

Bring 'em on!
It was obvious the players' minds were elsewhere tonight.
I would have liked to have seen Ledley King get on for a run out in preparation for Sunday, but I guess Ramos couldn't risk it with the possibility of extra time.
Darren Bent - the sooner we get shot of him the better. I know people will say "he needs a run of games" but come off it! Good players score goals when there's a chance. Look at when Defoe used to come off the bench. Took his chances.
Nobody was amazing tonight really. Pleased to see O'Hara grabbing his first goal, albeit lucky, and also glad to see Robinson back where he belongs, pulling off a fine save as well.

My female housemates always insult me when I use that word Becks!

Anyway I thought Spurs simply did what they needed to do.Robinson had a good game.Good kicking and one great save from the freekick.

MOTM was either Cerny or Kraicek of Sparta.Though Kraicek was the spitting image of James Blunt!

As mentioned a couple of times above, 'phew' is most certainly the word!

Considering the match began at a confident canter resembling a training match, it swung round to be clinging on desperately at the end.

THANK GOD IT DIDN'T GO TO EXTRA TIME. That was my utmost thought in those final minutes, would have been the last thing we needed prior to Sunday.

Bent needs to grasp these opportunities to play when he can, and his performance showed he needs to hit the back of the net to regain some confidence. Chimbonda frustrated me also as he came across as complacent a couple of times.

But the main thing is we're through, and now have a difficult tie against PSV.

So, who enjoyed that nostalgic trip back in time to the 'Jol years'?

This game should've been a stroll in the park but the fact that our players seemingly felt the same was almost our downfall. The first half was filled with complacency and negativity and although we dominated possession, we never really looked like scoring. I don't mind us being patient and working the ball backwards and across the back line but I don't see the point in passing up a good attacking situation, simply to retain possession. Especially not in the first half-hour of a game which we could've killed off and made comfortable for ourselves. Even when we found ourselves on the break, we'd simply turn around, wait for their defence to regain its position and then make a simple pass back to our unmarked defenders. Dreadful to watch and very frustrating.
Our fortunate goal completely killed off any attacking intentions and I thought it was a thoroughly boring game, until they equalised. The second half was full of desperation and disorganisation and although the last 20 minutes were nerve-racking, at least the game became relatively exciting to watch.
I didn't think we really had any stand-out performers worth mentioning, although Robbo did well in his first game back and The Huddmeister had a decent enough game and made some lovely passes.

At least we're through though, which is the main thing, after all. A bad case of over-confidence is what I'll put that performance down to; we'll certainly need to improve if we want to have a chance of winning the competition.
