I would certainly go for Aiden McGeady or Shenskuke Nakamura on the attacking side of things, both offer great flair and creativity.

Defensively I really rate Carlos Cuellar at Rangers.

Aye he's solid. Him and Barry Ferguson are the only two I'd have in my team. Pity he's too ugly to be a Celt though

Out of the rest of the SPL, excluding Celtic and Rangers, I rate in particular Ross McCormack of Motherwell and of course the legend that is Russel Latapy.

Steven Fletcher of Hibs is a player worth keeping an eye on. That spanish dude Guilleme Ballague (spelling??) reckons Madrid & Barca are looking at him.

I recall watching Arnau Riera of Falkirk earlier in the season and thought he was outstanding. On loan from Sunderland and had very good games against us & Rangers but hasn't really kicked it since. Don't know if he's out injured or what

He is still on loan as far as I am aware. Had only played seven or eight times for them.

He's taking his time putting in performances. Think he's played about 3 good games for us. The most recent being against Hibs last weak. He has the potential though and should become a big player over the next few seasons. Will play in the EPL eventually

Ive not seen much celtic games this season to be honest, other than the champs league. ALthough i fully expect him to become one of your best players along with mcgeady(who arguably is the best player at the moment.) and to be honest i ca see them both in the EPL soon enough. maybe mcgeady next season.

then i think brown will become your most important player and step into mcgeady's shoes/ Then maybe follow him to the EPL the following season?

thoughts mate?

Don't think McGeady will be leaving in the summer. Lawell and Strachan have already said they ond't plan to sell and we don't need the £12m that's being waved in front of our faces from Man City & Newcastle (apparantly).

I think McGeady will look at the Shaun Maloney circumstance before deciding. Maloney was player of the year up here and was destined for big things, moved to Villa and hasn't really become a major first team player. I think Strachan will remind him of this and I reckon he'll stay here for at least another 2/3 years to develop. The SPL is alot more physical and can be just as fast as the EPL so he could learn a few things here before chasing the money. Being a massive Celtic fan might keep him here for abit longer too.

I reckon if we got a big enough offer for Brown (around £9m) we'd accept it and he'd probably move on. Would gladly see him stay and help us progress as a team but a Newcastle are notorious for firing out large wages and that might just tempt him.

On the bright side, we have quite a young team at Celtic at the minute and I want to see them together for a few years. Annoying knowing that our players are propbably going to want to try their luck in England and leave us though. Then again, you would know the feeling as the majority of yours leave to join us or Rangers Laughing

a think mcgeady has the potential to play for a big team in england rather than Newcastle. if he jus gives it another season he will b a even better player.

Or he could run the risk of not doing as well next year and thereby decreasing his value and the list of potential suitors. To be honest despite what Celtic are currently saying i can see McGeady going onto pastures new sooner rather than later, whether it be this Summer or next at the very latest.

Sad to say but wee Aiden is the best player in the League for me, its a shame he plays for that team and not Rangers.

Cuellar. Easy.

Cuellar plays well in every game, which makes him the difference between, Himself and McGeady.

On current form its McGeady but in terms of sheer quality it has to be Nakamura although it would suprise me if McGeady doesn't go on to become a better player than Nakamura.

I reckon Cuellar will get Player of the Year with McGeady getting Young Player or something, just because the SFA are all fuds
