Just players who you feel do not gain a fair deal of recognition for what they do mate.

Each team has their own player that doesn't get enough credit. At Celtic, I would probably say McManus. Never really gets gleaming reviews due to the fact that pundits are always going on about McGeady, Naka, Brown etc.

There is one player I've always thought was outstanding but I have never heard anyone give him credit would be big Rob Jones at Hibs. Hibs have a few players like Fletcher or Zemmama that tend to draw the plaudits after each Hibs victory but the big man has been solid every time I have watched him

Agreed. Joined from Grimsby a few years back i believe, was strongly linked with Leeds in th Summer.

One player that immediately springs to mind for me is Alan Combe at Kilmarnock. Has always looked a very solid, reliable Goalkeeper that goes about his business quietly with a fairly inconsistent defence in front of him.

Was actually going to mention Combe to but commentators tend to buzz for him so I thought that's enough for him

Yeah, I think he has been deserving of some international recognition in the past, don't think hes ever been selected though.

It seems like Cuellar is drawing all of the plaudits at Rangers at the moment, which is partially deserved due to some solid displays, but in my opinion David Weir is a little underrated there at this moment in time.

Weir has done the job for them so far but he's going to be exposed. When playing against Rangers, teams tend to play one up front and with a decent partner beside him in Cuellar, Weir has looked decent. Without Cuellar in there though, he'd be terrorised by anyone with a bit of pace about them

Yeah probably, but considering his age he is still performing to a high, consistent level.

Any more you are thinking of Mr. Doherty?

Zander Diamond is another one I rate highly. I'm a defender you see so all for them getting a bit of praise now and again. Still a young lad and could see him make a move south of the border in a few years if he keeps improving the way he has been

Was a centre-half originaly but often get played at RB because I'm a greedy bassa. I'm a good looking (fenian) Alan Hutton Smile I'd rather play centre half though. Less running and you get to kick lumps into forwards and they're afraid to get you back

Haha sorry. lee Wilkie hardly ever gets mentioned at Dundee United with mainly Barry Robson getting all the attention when he was there. At one point Lee Wilkie man marked Ruud Van Nistelrooy out of a game when scotland beat holland 1-0
