0-0 is a very good result for Arsenal.let's face it.Zero away goals against is a priority.Arsenal did the job in that leg.

How? It's an acceptable result at best, because it means they can qualify with a score draw, I understand that. But Arsenal will not dominate in the San Siro - Milan are the clear favourites to go through. because of their superb home record in this competition.

I could see the match because in India only one game was Live Lyon vs United.

But after reading all ur thoughts i can sense that it was a good home for Arsenal and Arsenal usaully good at home so no surprise they played well.

If they could surprise the holders at their home then i would say that Arsenal are good away from home. I dont see this happening after watching their away slip-up against United and that too in cup competition. Milan is very tough to play at San Siro. If Arsenal would have grabbed one goal at Emirates then it would have been Milan under fire but it is not like that now.

Its Milan Advantage now!!

Why cant Arsenal seem to play without the nasty tricks and cheating coming into it every game? Milan twice played the ball out of play for fake Arsenal injuries, then the fans and players all get in a huff when asked to play it out for a Milan player to be stretchered off the field!

Sour grapes.

It's common sense. Nobody wants the ball to be kicked out of play. When Pato fell over himself and got "injured", we were frustrated because he injured himself and we were preparing another flying attack.

When Sagna was down, the Milan fans got in a huff as well - it's natural.

Spurs fans will do the same when they're dominating a game, attacking the opposition and when the opposition player falls over himself and lies down to evidently waste time, the Spurs fans will disagree and some will huff. If that's never happened, especially in a big game, then Spurs are Saints and I bow down to thee.

I don't agree with having to kick the ball out of play everytime the opposition ask for it. It's ridiculous. It's even worse when their own player falls over himself and embarrasses himself. Why should Arsenal kick the ball out when the opposition are "injuring" themselves and pleading for us to kick it out? Fair enough if Senderos and Pato clashed heads and Pato went down, kick it out and deal with it. But it's annoying when you've to sacrifice your attacking momentum, time and possession just because the opposition player fell over himself.

i dont think i quite agree with J-Axe about last night`s performance . I did not think we completely outclassed or outplayed AC Milan , yes we dominated most of the game and should have scored a couple but most of our shots were fairly weak efforts and straight at the keeper . He was never really tested that much ...the Milan defence was well organised and that was obviously their plan ..dont concede and get back to the San Siro all square ...it worked .

Wenger was spot on when he said we lacked a bit of composure in front of goal ...

You tell me where Milan matched us in that performance? We outplayed them on every section of the pitch and in every part of the game.

They were very lucky and it's our own doing that we didn't hammer them. We ruined our own chances of scoring three or four, Milan were hanging on by the edge of their skins at times and if we had more composure, we'd have easily beaten them because we outclassed them in the performance.

Milan struggled to contain us and struggled to threaten us, simply because we outplayed them. The stats reflect that also. Wenger is right about our lack of composure in front of goal and I expressed that straight after the game. You can get absolutely outplayed and have one shot and score a goal. Scoring a goal doesn't necessarily mean you've outplayed a team - we definitely outplayed Milan and if you can't see that then fair enough.

I was very enthused about the niveau of play of Arsenal. Very fast and clever short-pass-play. But the wide crosses from the midfield to Adebayor etc. were fantastic, too. Well, Arsenal had a win deserved.

Arsenal vs AC Milan
