Hope Arsenal will win this one. I'll go for a 2-1 win for the Gunners.

can we have that in english please ... Laughing

very hard to say ...we need a win after saturday . I expect a good performance with everybody up for the job at hand ...need to get some advantage to take to Milan . I would be happy with a 2-0 win but of course any win would be ok i guess ..dont really want to concede though ..an away goal for AC Milan would be like a lifeline to them .

Come on Arsenal.......

I can see a draw here. Milan to take a decent 1-1 back to the San Siro.

Can't wait for this match. Although i have no idea who i want to win Confused, suppose i'll just see who i side with when it's playing. I'm looking forward to watching in a more relaxed state after last night though.

A lot of people are underestimating AC Milan from what i've seen but i wouldn't be shocked at all if they won here - though Arsenal will surely be riled up for this.

I'll go with a 1-0 to Milan. Leaving the Gunners with everything to do in Italy.

OMG! Arsenal dominated most of the matchup and easily could have won. I gotta give credit to AC Milan's back four and goalkeeper, they were bombarded all game long.

Can't believe Adebayor hit the bar at the end. AHH!

Now, Mancs/Spurs...

That's the real Arsenal.

Absolutely outclassed Milan in every department and how we didn't win I'll never know. The cup proves that you need luck in these sort of games and we had nothing going for us.

Cesc outclassed Kaká. Flamini outclassed Gattuso. In fact, we just outclassed them all over the shop.

And it's absolutely gutting that we didn't score at least three!! Our finishing wasn't great, but we played and created enough to score. Kalac made some very good saves and Adebayor agonisingly hit the bar in the last second of the game. It's heartbreaking to be honest, and that feels like MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more of a loss than the Man Utd game on Saturday. You can see where the priorities lie and you can see the sheer class in the team.

It's just that luck you need to buy in that competition - Liverpool clearly had it last night when Materazzi got sent off and Kuyt's goal was deflected, which won the game for them. We had absolutely nothing tonight.

Now I agree that Eboué went down looking for the penalty, but Jankolovski made a challenge, made contact with Eboué and completely missed the ball - it's a foul. Despite Eboué's dramatics, it was a foul. But credit to the Arsenal men, it was a huge gear shift from Saturday - but that was evidently going to happen. Wink

With the ability we showed and in the way we ripped apart Milan, I think we'll go into the second tie as favourites - especially with the clean sheet behind our name and huge amounts of confidence.

The only disappointing factors tonight was that Eboué made some sloppy passes in the final third, which if corrected would have won us the game. Eduardo is not a WINGER Arsène!! He was evidently struggling with the fitness levels in Midfield at that level and didn't have the pace to keep up, nevermind the mentality or ability. He's an International-class Striker and that's where he should have been moved. And the major disappointment is that we didn't bag a few goals.

Ah well, we're still in this tie big time and I'm very confident about progressing now. This team keeps on amazing me.

Agonising or what?

My Mum is appalled at the bad language from myself.

Adebayor was great tonight as well. Lone Striker against that Milan backline? The entire Milan Defence were rattled. They couldn't handle the big man. I thought it was won at the end with his header - he and the team deserved it desperately.

Looks like you dominated them rightly, they aren't as good as they were last year though.

Eboue, what a dirty cheat.

What's that got to do with it?

Milan are masters and every player on that pitch including Maldini, Nesta, Gattuso, Kaká, Seedorf and co. are still capable of competing at the very highest levels.

Their experience showed whenever they were under the thumb, but they were very lucky I have to say. We split them open too often it's not really nice recalling. I do think we got a little carried away at times and maybe lost a few nerves when the net was screaming for the ball, but we did truly outclass them and tested them through & through. Adebayor's effort in the dying seconds was crazy - nine times out of ten he'd stick that away.

It's even worse thinking about when you think back to the Liverpool game last night, in where they failed to break down a 10-man Inter who were poorly performing for most of the game, with attacking football that went side-to-side, crab-like and quite inventionless. Constant high balls and a lack of creativity and skill. Yet, they manage to bag two goals and get Materazzi suspended for nothing.
