You beat me to it.

It's brilliant news Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I'm so delighted you wouldn't believe. It's about time someone had the nerve to drop her and give someone else a chance. I don't think it's the end of her though , she will be back for the Olympic qualifier's I'm sure. Unless Barnhart has a really good Algarve.

I highly doubt it's over for Scurry. Pia seems like she really just wants to give both a chance, and we won't know anything until the Oly roster is official. Barnhart will really have to prove herself at the Algarve if she wants to be a serious contender for the number two spot, because its always easier to fall back on experience, if the other doesn't posses much more.

Scurry, however, is still on my list of people that I wouldn't be shocked if they were dropped. I would also put Kai, Mitts and Whitehill on there. Kai because A-Rod is totally muscling in on her territory and Mitts because if her knee still isn't ready for playing time, I don't know if she'll have enough game time and really get game fit. ACL is a horrible injury and the recovery time, especially when you're a bit older, like Mitts, isn't helpful. Whitehill has a lot of strengths, but speed ain't one of them, and that could seriously hurt her under Pia.

Hope, however, unless she royally screws up is probably one of the safest people on the team. The other people I would consider safe:

HAO
Tarp
Wambach
Boxx
Chalupny
Lloyd
Rampone

The rest of it I think is up for grabs.

I would have to agree with your list there, but I think Kai is kinda safe so I would add her on there. It's up to the others to prove themselves now at the Algarve and any friendlies that will be played.

Heather's not match fit , still coming back form injury , that's why she probably doesn't make the list. I've no doubt she'd be there Wink
