perhaps you could take your birth certificate?

or a sample of DNA?

everything is pretty cheap out there, food, clothes, drink etc. i barely bothered to buy a drink, just played the slots or video poker or whatever until the slutty clothed bint gave me whatever drink i desired for free, sometimes i had only put in like $2 and had about 5 drinks. greed is the key, mug them off in the same way they will mug you off

I've only visited a couple of cities in the North East .

New York was okay . Lots to do , and plenty of places you'll recognise from movies/t.v. shows . Take a boat ride around Manhattan , and take the bus tour also . Prepare to be disappointed by the Statue of Liberty ...... it's tiny .

Washington D.C. is great . Lots of places to visit , and lots of history . Do all the monuments , do all the museums , and visit the Ford Theatre for the show on Lincoln .

Avoid Buffalo at all costs , although a few miles north are the Niagara Falls ; they're worth a look .

He is an enlightened man and he is there for university Steely.
He is a Jew originally and I'd better not to tell his place to you because you might turn him into a soap Laughing
That is a joke of course cause I know you're enlightened man and I'm not biased towards you because of a relation to Hittler Wink
Well I don't know too much about his political views but he must be a liberal I think.

Actually I'd rather prefer to go to England in stead of America because I like British culture more than American one. Wink

You're gonna love New York City. I live there. Laughing

Great call going to Santa Fe. It's one of the forgotten parts of the country. It's the oldest city in the nation and the architecture is breath taking. I lived in New Mexico for 2 years, so I've frequented Santa Fe and I loved it every time I went there.

Places to visit in Santa Fe -

The Plaza - Great place to go see the culture and the art. You just walk around and take in the scenery, listen to some hippies play guitar and maybe buy some bargain jewelry from the Native American vendors.

The Capitol - Not your average political building. Made of adobe, just the outside is a work of art. Inside, there is collection of Southwestern art from paintings to sculptures. If you are lucky enough to meet the governor, he's a very friendly and personable guy. (Bill Richardson)

St. Francis Cathedral (now a Basilica) - If you're not Catholic, it's just another breathtaking work of art. The facade is beautiful and the stained glass is amazing.

San Miguel Chapel - The oldest church in the country. There's a bell in there that legend says if you ring, you will some how find your way back to Santa Fe. I rung it in 2003, and I thought I'd never come back... Turns out I moved to New Mexico and I came back to Santa Fe in 2005! Smile

Loretto Church - This church holds a spiral staircase that was believed to be built by St. Joseph (Jesus' dad). Have one of the historians tell you about it, and if you don't believe it, then you'll surely be impressed, nonetheless as the staircase was built WITHOUT nails!

Georgia O'Keefe Museum - Museum dedicated to New Mexico artist of the same name.

FOOOOOD!!! - Southwestern food at its finest. Make sure to taste the Mexican specials as well as the roasted red peppers. Don't go to just any place. Ask the locals where to go. There is a visitors center where the friendly staff will tell you where the best food is for the best price.

That's pretty much some of the things you have to look out for on your trip to Santa Fe. Very Happy

As for New York, there's something to do anywhere at anytime and way too many to list here. Just tell me what you're interested in, and I'll try to help you out.

Enjoy!

Wow!! thank you! im looking forward to santa fe even more now! i reckon the less well known places like santa fe will end up being some of our favourites definately! i really wanted to see a mix of older parts of america and 'real' america not jus the touristy places (although they will be amazing too)!

With New York, we're there for 4 days, we def wanna do a tour, someone told me that they big apple tours fit everything in so that would be quite useful. got to do the sex and they city tour too! think well try going over to staton island too if its easy because they go there in satc haha!

Is there any places you'd recommend for a night out in ny? somewhere that plays some decent music and nice drinks? It must be amazing to live there!

To be more precise, I'm actually in Virginia. About 15 minute drive outside of Washington D.C. Depending on where your hotel is, you should have access to the metro (our version of the tube) to most of the tourist spots in D.C.

Virginia Beach is a good 3 and a half hour drive from D.C. though. Smile (I just mention this since I noticed you put Virginia Beach on your list of places you'll be at.)

^ Whenever you find out, just send me a pm or post it in here. And I'll get you some more information on how to get to places. I also have some friends down in Virginia Beach, so might be able to set you guys up also when you're down there.

And if you're here on 4th of October (Saturday), maybe you can take in a D.C. United match while you're at it. Wink

Dunno about the finest place on earth, but it would be right up there! Rio de Janiero especially down the Copacabana is a beautiful sight, and so natural, whereas Las Vegas is manmade. Alas this is all about enjoyment at the end of the day, and I wouldn't argue being in either right now Very Happy
