actually maybe you can help us with something mr marty...
we want to go and watch a baseball game when we're in boston. we were gonna look at seeing one in new york but theres sooo much other stuff we want to do there that we dont think we'll have time. when do games usually get played? and is it easy enough to get tickets? |

You're going in October so that's playoffs season. I highly doubt you'd be able to see a game at Boston or New York. Boston because it's always packed there so you'll have to shell out a few extra $ for a ticket, and in New York because the Yankees stink and might not make the playoffs
I'd suggest watch an NFL game. Giants or Jets in New York or Patriots in Mass. Foxborough is a good drive outside Boston though so you'll have to get some transportation to the stadium. Giants Stadium is accessible by train so it might be easier to just watch it in NY. NFL games are played every Sunday, although some teams get off on Sundays and play on Monday. Schedule should be on the NFL website. Even better, if you make it to November, you can watch opening week of the NBA. Celtics are defending champions so that should be entertaining and the Knicks stink but every game at MSG is great fun (even though, again, the Knicks stink |

New York is brilliant. Disney land is great also
To be fair though, there is nothing else that attracts me about America. |

Tried the other parks? Disney World in Orlando will blow your brains out. |

It's been on the news that New Orleans has been evacuated bcoz of flooding so we're hoping that it's ok when we're there but just incase we can't go there we need a back up plan so does anyone suggest anywhere between Houston and Miami to stop off for a couple of nights?
If only Kentwood was easier to get to |

Yep as long as there are no fish in the floods!
Hopefully should be ok by the time we get there though, guess we won't know until we get there, not long now yay! |
