Italy will dominate are group, it's looking good!

watched my country (Cyprus) take on Italy tonight. we almost had them!!! we played some beautiful attacking football, but our problematic defense betrayed us in the end. a goal by Di Natale after 8 minutes and another by the same player (after a beautiful combination between Gilardino and Camoranesi) in injury time made it 1-2 and shuttered our dreams.

we had to use two midfielders as fullbacks, cause everyone else was injured. one of them cost us the first goal. Italy had their own share of defensive problems though. Lippi had to sub 2 defenders before the first half hour, because of injuries

a draw would have been the fairest result, imo.

Shame you couldnt hold them, would have been a great result for us after Bulgaria drew as well. Im not looking forward to playing you lot after the embarrassment of what happened last time around! One of the lowest points ever for us as a footballing country

We drew with Montenegro, not Macedonia. They were a good team considering theyre the bottom seeds in the group. Im happy with the result and 4 points from our first two games, both away from home.

Biggest shock of the night has to be Luxembourg beating Switzerland in Switzerland. In fact that must be one of the biggest international shocks in history!!

In fact ive just checked it out and they actually won a game against Belarus last year, theyre first win in 13 years Tonight victory was their first in a World Cup qualifier since 1972.

what a shock for Portugal !!! a goal after 90 minutes and another in injury time gave the victory to Denmark, 2-3 !!

not as big a shock as Luxembourg beating Switzerland, but losing a game like that must have been pretty shocking for the Portuguese
