What happened to Van der Meyde????

I remembered being very excited when we managed to sign him, especially as there were a couple of other clubs trying to get him too. Affected by injuries and some discipline problems, didnt manage to show us what he can do on the pitch.

Believe he has overcome all these problems, so where is he??? Don't even see him being named on the bench?

Can the local lads keep me up to date? Is he still training with the 1st team? Has he been playin even for the reserves??? Is he still embraced by the fans???

I had seen him playing for Inter and looked like a fantastic player. What a waste if he is left to rot in the background......................

I think he'll be gone at the end of the season...

Very sad..... was hoping that he been given a chance! So frustrating not to even see him getting a run out. A promising talent down the drain....

Really? did he admit to the problem or has it been proven? Only heard he had some discipline problems, he was fined and supposingly given a chance by Moyes. But never saw him even given a run out the whole season even when we had a bad situation with injuries in midfield!

when he was playing for ajax this all went fine...
i think he is a really good player...and its ashame he doesnt play.
im sure he was the one you needed to win from Liverpool
