What looked to a be a terrible transfer window for you, has turned out to be quite a good one. Well done Keagan.

Well the four players i have seen play are all quality signings. The other two will hopefully be just as good. If i am honest I wanted another midfielder but there is always the window in Jan.
I still think it was a good bit of business to sell Milner. I was a huge fan of his but 12million couldn't be rejected. He isn't a match winner and his crossing is poor. His workrate is great but he doesn't often change games. I already think Jonas Gutierrez is better and he cost no more than 3million. |

I'll [beep] cry if firstly this is true, and secondly Dennis Wise is the replacement. |

Good business for Newcastle i think. One more attacking midfield type would've been ideal but it isn't always that easy. Especially not on deadline day. Teams are desperate to keep hold of their better players as replacements are hard to come by.
To get a striker was important i think as against Arsenal Ameobi was ... useless - wandered aimlessly around the pitch and you knew the move would break down if it was played to him. He made Owen's life impossible i felt. Owen needs a partner to rely on, always has. Without one of Martins and Owen you're pretty short. There is Viduka i suppose but i don't really know what's happened to him. It'll be interesting to see who is paired up front though now with 3 seemingly main striker's. And then by the sounds of it Gonzalez can cover both right-midfield (replacing Milner) and attacking midfielder. And if he proves good enough on the right, with Milner on the left, i think you may get away with not having someone as creative in the centre. As long as the guys on the wings are reliable. |

SSN are reporting that Keegan has left. All just rumours but they're heavily gathering pace.
I'd be pretty disappointed at this actually. It's easy to take the p*ss out of Keegan but he's likeable and is starting to do a decent job at the club. For the first time in a while it looks like Newcastle could have a stable season and then this happens. Must be great for Toon fans. I hope Wise doesn't takeover either. He may do a good job but i've always thought he's a bit of a d*ck to be honest. |

Thanks, we try our best. Although nothing official is confirmed yet, it does look as though he's on his way out. Why i really don't know. Talk about lack of business in the transfer window, or not doing the right deals. We signed 4 players before the last day who have all played fantastic so far. Two more were brought in on the last day. Whats wrong with that?

I form proper opinions, uninfluenced by my geographical position, or another person's geographical position or employer. We aren't obliged to support a local team. If i never felt a connection to a local team, that's not my fault. Maybe if i was brought up supporting a local team things would've been different. I'm not a blind follower either. The fact that few of my favourite players play for Liverpool is purely coincidental. Same goes for England national team players. I only like 2 players starting for the national team. Gerrard and James, the latter being my favourite English footballer of all. Why do i like James so much? He's a nice, intelligent, caring person. 3 characteristics most English players lack, the latter two in particular. He does charity work, he's even set up his own charity helping farmers in Africa. I respect him for that, and it's my respect for him as a person, more than as a player, that is responsible me liking him more than any player in a Liverpool shirt. If he went to Man U, i'd like him no more, no less. |

Of course it is up to you who you support and you have your own reasons. I guess i feel sorry for you. Whilst you think Newcastle is a joke, the real joke is on you. By supporting Real Madrid and Liverpool you will never feel like i do when i go to watch Newcastle united. Yes the club is owned by a total [beep!] but football wouldn't mean the same to me if i supported a team further away. This City is all about NUFC, it just wouldn't feel right supporting someone else.
