Terry: I Loved Watching Barnsley Beat Liverpool

Quote:
Chelsea captain John Terry said he revelled in watching Barnsley knock Liverpool out of the FA Cup in the last round. Now he's out to make sure the Tykes don't do the same to the Blues.

galleria zoom The South Yorkshire club will take on their second successive big four opposition in this year's FA Cup when current holders Chelsea travel to Oakwell today.

But Terry says he's determined to end Barnsley's fairytale today and ensure Chelsea reach the semi-finals.

"I watched Barnsley-Liverpool on Match of the Day and couldn’t believe the result," said the England international. “I enjoyed it. I think the whole country did - it’s what the FA Cup is all about.

"But this competition means a lot to us. We have to make sure we’re mentally and physically right and be hungrier than them. We have to win."

Ha.

He really is a douche, have no idea why he was/is Englands captain we have two better English center halves in Spurs team alone.

Well done Barnsley, absolutely brilliant.

I think its great all the glory glory big boys are out, and with Spurs winning the Carling Cup it is now down to Everton to complete the hatrick and well and truly smash the 'Big 4' monopoly!

Well said mate!

COME ON Everton!!! Very Happy

Sticky: your defence of Avram Grant is senseless. He picked the team and they played poorly. Hence the blame lays firmly on his shoulders. That's the way football management works.

He'll be out in the summer.

i dont think Spurs winning the Carling Cup and Everton beating Liverpool to 4th spot will necessarily mean there will be a change in the big 4 monopoly ... Wink

I don't blame you. Since Liverpool doesn't give you anything to celebrate, so better jump in the band wagon. By the way, do they have cute players or managers? Razz
Anyway, I am happy because Chelsea is out. Serves Roman right to fire the sexy Mourinho.
