Should be an interesting game this one, Pats will have their eyes on the title this year while Sligo have strengthened quite well, like every season theyve brought in a few interesting foreigners that could prove good signings. Pats have spent plenty and seem to have a really strong squad now, they started really well last season and I can see this year being the same..

According to the radio the game was delayed for half an hour because both teams had the same colour kits and neither were willing to change. What a joke of a start to the season!!

i chose to go to this game instead of ucd and derry.yeah was delayed alright.everybody was going mad.sligo wore pats away jersey.poor first half though.sligo took the lead and held on until half time.then pats came out and played well.captain jamie harris headed an equaliser,then ryan guy made it 2-0.then moments later ryan guy got his second and it was a great goal.pats look good

Good it got sorted out in the end. I saw the kits in the paper yesterday and they weren't even that similar. Pats were red & Sligo white, the only thing that was the same was the sleeves. Ref was being overly fussy apparently!
