He always, always picks a single player in a team and then makes exaggerated observations about them to make it look as if he has the deepest knowledge of that particular team. He picked Seol to talk about when he was at Reading, said that he could easily do a job for most Premier League teams Laughing

We played poorly, yet remained unbeaten and got a very important point that sees us 2 points clear. The pitch was terrible and we had players missing with a reshuffle of the Midfield and a Striker partnership that has yet to ever work, nevermind their relationship.

I'm happy enough with the point.

Don't believe you.

*Sighs* Another draw. But, i am ok with it. What an awful pitch. Also I am happy that we came out of that nightmare pitch without an injury. I was more worried than being happy when Van Persie was introduced earlier than i'd have imagined.

Can you guys tell me who United have to play against for that 'game in hand' and where??? They may very well go to the top of the table. But I am not worried much. Whenever we are behind, we seem to suddenly gather momentum and go ahead. Hoping for that again(I can hope right???). Also I am still confident of winning the League.

Another result that made me smile when i checked the results this morning, think I had a bet on under 2.5 goals in this match too owing to Wigans defence and the pitch.

I don't think it is... I'm pretty sure it's Bolton. You play Derby this weekend and then the Wanderers in midweek.

And also yesterday on soccernet it said "Man United P-P Bolton Wanderers".

Either way it should be 3 comfortable points.

No matter how much Arsenal fans on here play down these lost points it is a huge dent to their title hopes IMO. It puts Man U in the driving seat, puts SAF the master of his own destiny, the man has been there and done this dozens of times, this is his element, and Wenger has handed him a huge gift.

Agreed mate.

Any Arsenal fans claming to be happy with a point at Wigan are deluding themselves. It's two points dropped, end of.

Like I said, it's squeaky bum time and the pressure's finally telling on Arsenal.

Man Utd will win this title.

I agree, its a huge dent. I was gutted with the result. I also agree it puts ManU in the driving seat as well. But don't write us off that quickly. Many said the title race was almost over(I remember a thread started here sayin the race is over for Arsenal) when ManU took the lead in Jan after we drew against Birmingham i think. But we bounced back again to take the lead. Everytime, people start to say Arsenal are going to lose now when United take the lead, we bounce back strongly and retain our lead. So don't write us off that easily. I agree, chances for ManU are looking good, but we are in with as much chance as them and IMO we will win it provided, we soon get back to winning ways i the league instead of drawing matches.

But whatever the end result will be, the title race is exciting and I am happy and proud of the achievements of Arsenal until now when everyone virtually written them off at the start. From seeing the trend in the title race now, that game between Arsenal and ManU at Old Trafford will be deciding the title winners IMO.

Absolutely disappointing from Arsenal. One day they played like Champs to beat the defending champs Milan and now its very ordinary mid table team performance.

Arsenal players are not hitting the hattrick but their manager hit the Hattrick of 3 draws in row. 6 points dropped and 3 earned :-O

My money is still on Arsenal to lift the EPL Trophy.

well the midweek win against Ac Milan failed to hide the cracks appearing in our bid for the Premier League title . This was 2 points dropped by us and deep down i think Arsene Wenger will be bitterly dissapointed with the result ...a great chance to put pressure on Man Utd and go 4 points clear .. The only good point was a point ...better than nothing as they say ..

The pitch was awful but other teams have come here and won .....not an easy game of course but these are the games we should be winning if we are to win the title ....3 draws in our last 3 league games , that is not title winning form..how we could have done with Eduardo or Walcott yesterday ...oh well , i can almost guarantee Man Utd will be itching to get back on top .... away to Derby and then the game in hand at home against Bolton .....who would bet against Man Utd winning both ...i wouldnt ..

a bit worried now ....

The one other good point you failed to mention was us escaping from that nightmare pitch without injury to anyone including V.Persie Smile

He lost all his superpowers. Same thing happened to Sagna when he got his dreads/beads or whatever you want to call it cut off and went for the Toure look. He didn't play that well and the following week he had his dreads/beads back. Laughing

This is true of course but there are some important games to be played and there's not much in it between Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea. I see a win against Derby for Man U by Bolton game may be a little different. I would have bet that we beat Wigan before the game after the performance against AC Milan but it doesn't always work out that way as Utd also found against Pompy.

Will be a very interesting end to the season tho.

Come on the Gunners!!

Wigan v Arsenal
