i`m just desperate for a trophy ....for all the lovely football we play and all the praise and acclaim we get from pundits and whoever the brutal truth is we have not won anything in 3 yrs and that is what counts in the end ..

Nothing but the Champions League or Premier League title would prevent this season from being a major dissapointment ....

I hope that does not happen of course and the next month will decide a lot ...

He always, always picks a single player in a team and then makes exaggerated observations about them to make it look as if he has the deepest knowledge of that particular team. He picked Seol to talk about when he was at Reading, said that he could easily do a job for most Premier League teams Laughing

You are better off just ignoring the post if you are not going to try and refute my opinion with facts about the subject.

I said that about seol and i still believe it.The same goes for a lot of average looking players. Because i wasn't talking about Seol in the sense of him being an incredible player.I was talking from the stand point that Seol would be able to add something to a better team who is lacking his abilities on the wing.He would be more motivated playing for that better team and become a better player.I guess he became a product of his environment at Reading and became unmotivated and inconsistent. Obviously that concept went over your head, and i guess not a lot would understand it.
I actually believe Seol is better than Park (Man U) the only difference is the amount of respect Park is given at Man U and the lack thereof that he got at Reading.

It's hard to ignore your posts when you talk down to people and present it as if you are teaching whoever reads it, it's cringeworthy sometimes...

There you go again, there's a reason that Seol has played for Antwerp, Anderlecht, Wolves, Reading and Fulham.... It's not just because every other person on the planet just doesn't see what you see, it's because he isn't that good.

Whereas Park played so well at PSV that he was voted as one of the top 5 forwards in the Champions League in 2005 alongside Shevchenko, Ronaldinho, Adriano and Eto'o... He also made the best XI, you don't get that recognition for nothing. He was in line to win the Asian Player of the Year award that year but forfeited his nomination because he couldn't make it to the ceremony as United had a match. The fact that his career has went upwards is a testament to how he is rated inside the game.

Park's won trophies everywhere he has been and I find it quite laughable that you consider Seol above him. I don't think I'm alone.

I don't want to make this a Seol v Park thread so i'll keep this short.
I was basing my opinion on how well a the two had done against top teams up until that time.Seol in my opinion did better in the perm against top teams than park.I saw him give Chelsea a lot of problems and other teams too.park on the other hand wasn't as effective. What he Had done before Man U i was aware of,but it means nothing look at scheva as an example.

But back to the real question i asked you.Refute what i said about Hleb with something factual will you.

By the way a lot of what i say or how i say it is actually tongue in cheek,it's not meant to be serious so don't take it personal.

Oh no. Park is way better than Seol in every way. Granted Park has had the luxury of having better players playing around him throughout his career.
