Tuesday September 13th
UEFA CUP 2ND QUALIFYING ROUND
GROUP B4
Arsenal 3-1 Wroclaw

Arsenal overcame an injury crisis, missing Julie Fleeting, Leanne Champ, Anita Asante and Hayley Kemp, to defeat Poland's KS AZS Wroclaw and win their opening group match in Denmark.

Lianne Sanderson and Rachel McArthur both scored in the first quarter, with Jayne Ludlow coming off the bench to settle the match with a third goal on 75 minutes.

Marta Ocrebska replied for Wroclaw late on as the Gunners won 3-1.

Next up are Russia's LADA Toliatti on Thursday, who lost 2-0 to hosts Brondby IF.
