Hi, my name is Matt and i'm from Alabama. I am a sort of new fan to 'soccer', or football as you all call it.
I began watching Premiership matches last year on TV and i quickly became interested. It is so much more exciting to me than watching American games...which generally have half-filled stadiums, boring fans and even more boring gameplay action. I don't know what else to say...except that i look forward to reading all your comments and becoming more acquainted with the lovely game of English Football. |

well i'm leaning towards Birmingham City and Middlesbrough right now
I have a few friends on the net that live in Birmingham and they are always talking up BCFC, so that's why i like them. As for Middlesbrough, when i watch matches on TV, i usually get Middlesbrough matches. I really like English football as a whole though, not entirely devoted to one team or another. |

Make sure you check out the MLS Section as well. As you already know the quality is nowhere near that of Europe and across the world for that matter. But there's been some great strides the last couple years to up the quality as a whole in the league. We also have an MLS forum game that will start on March 29th. We have one spot left.  |

oh yeah, i've been to Bryant Denny Stadium to see the Tide play (american) football every now and then...i've made it down that way 5 times so far. Hope to get back there this year or next. |
