I was at Easter road to witness a fantastic game of football! It was one of those great european nights with a fantasic white-hot atmosphere! The stadium was packed with 17400 football mad Hibees who shook the whole of Edinburgh! When "sunshine on Leith" came on i sang my heart out with the rest of the fans! It was honestly one of the best atmospheres i have ever been in!
The only bad thing about the game was the 0-0 draw but let me tell you it should have been at least 3 goals by either team!
Hibs first off started playing like a bunch of headless chickens, running to catch any ball while Dnipro looked very proffesional! I must admit i was a little worried by the way they looked! They where all huge!
But Hibs calmed down a bit and started playing the football which got them 3rd postion last season, with Scott Brown skinning two players and hitting the post! That was pretty much the only thing that happended during the 1st half except that Dnipro had a few chances too.
2nd half Hibs came out with a different head on and looked much more calm. By this point the match was about 50-50 with both sides gaining about the same possetion.
I looked at the dug-out and noticed Hibs where about to bring on Ivan Sproule which got me excited as he recently hit a hat-trick against Rangers! When he came on he got a great reception! His first touch saw him set up Kevin Thompson to nearly score! He later got the ball inside the box and hit the ball to the bottom-right corner of the goal, i jumped up in joy just to see the ball hit the post

Overall it was a great game and one to remember but there should have been plenty more goals! Next leg Hibs should win!
