Kebe secures Royals move |
|
Reading have wrapped up the signing of Mali international winger Jimmy Kebe for an undisclosed fee from French side Racing Club Lens. The 24-year-old, who has been on loan at US Boulogne this season, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Royals. Director of football, Nick Hammond, told the club's official website: "Jimmy is a winger who has a bit of pace and is a good size at more than six feet tall. He is right-footed, but is comfortable on both wings. "He's been playing in the French second division, so hasn't really been on a lot of clubs' radars. "We've been aware of him for some time and every time our staff have watched him, he's had a major impact on a game. "Obviously it's a massive step up from that level to the English Premier League, but the same could have been said for a number of our players when they first came to the club. "They have made the transition and we hope Jimmy can do the same." |

He's looked reasonably good so far, three substitute cames appearances and a good few performances for the reserves. Looks incredibly speedy, quite versatile, good on the ball with some good movement. All in all a decent outlet. Looks like he gets muscled off the ball fairly easily though.
