Ashley Cole has been ruled out for a month after he was left on the treatment table with a stress fracture of the foot. This is a big blow to England, with Sven Goran Eriksson forced to draft in Liverpool's Stephen Warnock ahead of the crucial World Cup double-header against Austria and Poland.

Not good news for the National team..........

No, definitely not. Ashley is a player you can always depend on to be solid for England, although i would like to see him get forward like he does for Arsenal more for England.

Looks like Warnock is going to get the nod to replace him, he should handle it well.

actually i don't know....lol
Never seen him play there....
but i've heard that he has played for all places at the back in Liverpool before.
maybe he can do well.

and that is also bad news for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal. , we do have Gail Clichy though who has done well before when Ashley Cole has been out of the side

Looks like Carragher is getting the nod tp play there, should be interesting to watch but he is a class act so i reckon he can do it well.
