Besiktas vs Bolton

just my luck. I move over here to the UK and Beşiktaş actually draws an English team...and they end up playing in Istanbul. Any Bolton fans going? Want some insider tips? Stadium, bars&clubs, the team/players, Beşiktaş mob/firm, do's and don't in Istanbul (it is not really that bad, honestly ))

I hope Bolton do well this year in the UEFA Cup, Big Sam is a good manager and deserves some recognition. Them doing well would also pay the way for teams such as Spurs and Charlton to make their way thru it.

I have to agree with that - I feel that with the style of football they play they will upset a few teams and others will find it very hard to break them down!

Now that they have a few players with experience of world and European football they will do very well!

I hope Besiktas will go through but I think we are in a very very tough group. Beşiktaş has not had the best start to the season. We do not play well at home at the moment. The team has got the experience and quality to beat Bolton, but Besiktas get frustrated very quickly. Which leads to a lot of long balls, not the best way to play against any British team. Beşiktaş needs to stay calm even though 3 points in this match is a must!!!

You have to understand tho Bolton are a very hard and stubborn side to break down when they want to.

They play the defensive version of the 4-5-1 that is tough to score against.
