I'm doing the draw now...folded up bits of paper with the names on...shaking them in a jug now... Here we go...... Man Utd v Chelsea Fenerbahce v Liverpool Roma v Schalke Barca v Arsenal A couple of explosive ties there, although Liverpool get lucky again!! With four English teams in the hat I'd be very surprised if there isn't an all English tie. I agree with Forev that a Liverpool v Man Utd tie would absolutely mouthwatering (if not quite enough to make me urinate  )
I don't care about the other fixtures, that's the one tie I'd love to see. The whole country (not just the cities of Manchester and Liverpool) would be at a standstill because of all the glory hunters from both generations. Every Liverpool fan I know is sh!t scared of facing Man Utd. Why? I thought Rafa is the Champions' League king? Surely he'd turn them over? No??!! |

That’s why I said you’re scared of them – because you fear losing to them. You fancy yourselves against everyone else but when your boys step onto the pitch with Ronaldo, Rooney etc. you’re worried. I’d say most if not all Man Utd fans aren’t scared of drawing Liverpool at all. I don’t believe you fearing Arsenal over Man Utd. You battered Arsenal 4-1 last season! OK, they beat you in the cups, but Man Utd virtually always have your number (apart from the FA Cup tie at Anfield two seasons ago). |

agredd, I think it's inevitable that 2 of the premiership sides get drawn together and the ideal draw would also see Barcalona drawn with Roma, if that happens then I think you could once again be looking at 3 of the last 4 being premiership teams.

Why not fear Arsenal more? They had us pinned back for most of the game last team we played them, and we were at home. I was scared! We may have beaten them 4-1 last season, but they also spanked us twice. Besides, Arsenal have improved so much since then. Back then we were better than them. Also, against Man U we've been dealt a bad hand on last 3 occasions at home. Terribly unlucky. We outplayed them in all 3 of those fixtures, so it would be a great way of getting back at them. Surely they couldn't get lucky for a 4th time? |
