He's 23, has a considerable amount of talent - already looking set to be an England regular - and is evidently ambitious. Can you see him staying at Blackburn Rovers?

Now, if it was a team like Everton, Manchester City or Tottenham Hotspur, where the potential is admittedly huge, then i'd be inclined to say yes... But as it is i think Blackburn are punching above themselves and can't see them forcing into the band of elite Premier League teams. Which is where he must have his eye on, to have regular European football - be it UEFA Cup or Champions League - and at a club challenging for silverware.

So where do you think his future lies? And is he good enough to play for a Champions League club? Or is his destination more likely to be one of the tracking pack aspiring to break the top four ‘domination’? Or do you think he's overrated and Blackburn actually fits him perfectly?

He's decent, but over-rated IMO.

He wasn't good enough to play for Arsenal. He's not good enough for Champions League. I don't see him leaving Blackburn anytime soon unless there's a major fallout between him and the club.

Probably been the best right midfielder in the league this season. And one of the best last season for that matter.

Definitely good enough for a Champions League team, but a lot of people will have doubts until he can prove that at one of the top 4.

I can't see him staying at Blackburn for more than two seasons. I'd like him to join Liverpool, but i can see him staying at Blackburn for another season.

I think he is easily good enough for Arsenal, but was released because at the time he either didn't show his potential for whatever reason (probably lack of matches), he didn't really fit Wenger's plans, or because at the time he wasn't good enough, but has since improved immeasurably. He'd wipe the floor with Eboue and Walcott now though.

Thats how Arsene Wenger is comparing him with Bergkamp and so is Bergkamp comparing himself to bentley.

Having a "bit" of the characteristics of Bergkamp doesn't make him great. I'm not saying he won't become great in the future, but right now, at this moment, he's not good enough in my opinion and a bit overrated.

To even mention his name in the same context as bergkamp is a massive thing.

At this moment he has had a not bad a season with Blackburn. One of there best players this season

I think a move to Liverpool would be good for both Bentley and Liverpool. I would of thought it would take some big bucks though for Blackburn to sell

It's been more than not bad. He has been excellent.

I think he is underrated for his performances for Blackburn, but when he played for England he was incredibly overrated.

I don't see him going there as long as Rafa is at the helm. He left Arsenal due to his lack of playing time. Now he's telling Walcott to leave for his lack of playing time. With Rafa's rotation policy, don't think Bentley will be too happy with it.

If he's good enough he'd play regularly though. And he has a great sense of self-belief.

He has no power or pace, a bit Beckhamesq in that respect. I think that is why he didn't fit at Arsenal.

How can you say he's overrated Sticky? Everytime I left an English paper they're on his nuts saying he's a must to start for England. To be honest, I think the opposite of you. I think he's overrated. He's a decent player but can't see him ever setting the world stage alight. Blackburns standard is probably about fair for his ability...in my opinion of course

A few rumours he will come to Tottenham though Jono. The past few days there have been rumours Lennon is on his way out and will be replaced with Bentley. Shocked

I was told yesterday that Spurs said they will listen to offers of £10m for Lennon. Probably gash but don't shoot the messenger

Of all the right-sided midfielders in the league, who, other than Ronaldo obviously, would you say is better than Bentley?

Wright-Phillips, Lennon (maybe), Hleb/Rosicky, A. Young to name a few. The you have teams like Man City who have played Elano there, the left wing & the middle. Why don't you name every right sided midfielder in the league and Il give you a yay or nay

I think Bentley has been more productive than Lennon this season but I would still prefer Lennon in my team. Lennon hasn't delivered, as yet, the potential we saw when he came into Spurs team. Maybe he does need a change and if he does, I would go for him and offload Eboue.

Would take that in a heartbeat but dont think it will happen. He is a arrogant clown and thinks hes good enough to get Champs League football, sadly I think hes right.

Liverpool imo

We need arrogance.

All our players crumble when they have to do anything remotely difficult in the Premier League. Like come from behind... *gasp*

I always thought there'd be a few Liverpool players that love to come from behind
