Hmmm Not bad for United. Don't like the fact we could face Barcelona in next round if we get through.

I didn't want Arsenal but I guess we'll have to knock them out now.

We're never lucky with the draws Rolling Eyes

Man U fans will be very happy to meet us again, I hope we'll do a better figure in and out the pitch even if I doubt about the second one...

I think it's safe to say that an English team will definitely reach the final - for the 4th year running. Fenerbahce won't get past Chelsea, but even if they miraculously did then Arsenal or Liverpool will knock them out in the semis.

Avram Grant's luck is in for sure. Man Utd should get past Roma but it won't be as easy as it was last time. They'll be desperate to avenge the 7-1 humiliation of last season. Barca will get past Schalke so I see the semi final draw as:

Arsenal/Liverpool v Chelsea
Barca v Man Utd

From there it's anyone's guess. I'm struggling to pick a winner between Arsenal and Liverpool. It'll be close!

Not happy.

And the Man Utd and Chelsea draws make it even worse.Man U have been bloody lucky to draw Roma for obvious reasons, and Chelsea have drawn another [beep!] easy tie.

Barca have had two pretty easy draws as well.

Liverpool have it really bad. Been drawn against two of the best teams. Both top of their league.

I think both Chlsea and Manchester Utd will be reasonably happy with their draws and you would have to strongly fancy a premiership club reaching the final yet again.

Stop whinging!

You had plenty of luck beating Inter in the last tie, so maybe you were due a bad run. Besides, you're playing the second leg at home so it could be to your advantage. In fact, the tie is worse for Arsenal because in the next seven games they face Liverpool three times, and both Chelsea and Man Utd away. That is TOUGH!!!

At least we wont all be bored to death by another Chelsea v Liverpool game thank god!!

I imagine Chelski fans will be the most happiest of all the 4 English clubs with todays draw.

My view on chances of progressing

Arsenal v Liverpool 60%-40%
AS Roma v Man Utd 45%-55%
Schalke 04 v FC Barcelona 15%-85%
Fenerbahce v Chelsea 30%-70%

*Sighs* Another tough set of matches due to this draw for us now. Its going to be tough sustaining the league challenge and the CL matches too.

After the Middlesbrough game this week, We have to go to Stamford Bridge, then a Bolton game away at the Reebok, then comes a crucial period.

We then face Liverpool 3 times in a row within 7 days(on 1st or 2nd, 5th and then on 8th or 9th) The first 2 games are at Emirates and the 3rd is at Anfield Exclamation . Then on 13th we face ManU at Old Trafford. They're going to be completely exhausted physically and mentally by the time we go to Old Trafford. Very tough indeed.

But we have to suck it up and perform at our best again to go through this tough phase. I am a bit happy with the return of Van Persie which may motivate us to perform better. Also we need Cesc and Flamini working tirelessly, infact we need everyone to work tirelessly.

Hope to progress in the CL and also regain the lead in the League. As a Gunner, I can hope for them right???

It will be critical to get a good result in the first leg at the Emirates. The better the result the better for the return leg where we could possibly rest a couple players.

It doesn't sound good for Arsenal.

When they play United that could end up being nothing more than Arsenal handing them the title. Their squad will be tested to the limit, and as it's small, i think they will crumble.

I'm happy to get the medium draw against Roma, I didn't want to get a big team for obvious reasons and there's always the chance of becoming complacent against the smaller teams. With Roma it will be against a team that we have faced four times in a year, we've beaten them twice, lost one and drew one with our reserves on the field.

It's safe to say that I'm quietly confident but you never know with Sir Alex in Europe, he always sets out to stifle other teams and instead stifles his own in the process. However we will be favourites to progress and move on to face the likely tie against Barca... Not sure how to feel about that one, all I know is that if we make it first past Roma and then past Barca that nobody will stand in our way for the title of Champions of Europe.
