I don't think he'll leave to be honest, but if he does he won't be joining Liverpool.

Yeah but you don't exactly have a creditable opinion on Liverpool matters...

and obviously you do? Rolling Eyes

"I don't care who we get just get rid of Rafa" - OWEN_ENG <--------probably a good 3/4 of your total post count...

I actually have an opinion on matters...

As do I...we just have differing opinions...you're probably one of those guys who can't/won't admit the team performed poor and argue they are invincible...too many of you people around Laughing

I can admit it, I frequently do I just believe you have to get behind who is in charge of always calling for his head after 1 or 2 bad games. You have an American Sporting mentality (no offence to American's) which is typical since your from Canada... You are pessimistic about every game and always call for the impossible signings or the down right stupid ones... i'm probably not the only one who thinks this but so far the only one to voice it.

Opinions and thoughts are exactly what they are...and there's nothing wrong if I feel that the manager should be canned....heck Arsene Wenger is a decent manager....Arsenal's been on a losing/drawing streak lately...does that mean I want him out? NO...I think he's a great manager. I along with a helluva lot of other people aren't behind the Liverpool manager...we have our thoughts about it...and that's that....I'm not going to discuss that whole thing again...

What's stupid to you is not necessarily stupid to me...and there's nothing wrong with being ambitious...heck maybe if we did sign those "impossible" signings...Rafa would win the Premiership with Liverpool....it boils down to opinions my friend...you're entitled to them as is everyone else on this forum.

The point is though that your response to most Liverpool related topics is that Benitez should leave - hence you conceivably don't have an opinion on these matters.

Is it? I disagree.

From what I've seen he's an in & out kinda guy (aint we all? Wink )

Reminds me of Robben. Great on his day but when the going gets tough he simply cant be arsed

you've got a good point but he lacks motivation as he continually states benitez would transform him plus the challenge of playing for Liverpool should motivate him even further....

and lets not forget ronaldo took a while to grow consistent

He would be a lot better than Pennant, Benayoun or Kewell. Quaresma is the main man at Porto and they play to his strengths. The focus is constantly on him to perform so when he has a below average game, Porto are fecked. If he was in a team where others pull their weight ie Gerrard, Torres, Babel, etc, alot of pressure would be lifted of him and he could easily become one of the big names in world football. He's still young too and under the right manager, he could develop to bigger & better things. Would be a fantastic signing for any side in the world

couldnt have said it better although he's very right footed to be honest the way he uses the outside of his right boot to escape using his left is the best ive ever seen....

I agree. He almost scored again with the outside of his foot at the weekend. He's a bit like Torres, in that he is the main man at a team where a lot of pressure is put on him, both from the fans and the manager. Both teams have huge support, and want to win thing, so the pressure only increases. We've seen how much Torres has improved since moving to Liverpool, where the team doesn't rely solely on him (although it seems even at Liverpool that is changing fast).

Quaresma would be perfect for our 4-2-3-1 formation.

Ben - i can't believe you think Arbeloa would still be a weakness in a standard 4-4-2. I would say he is stronger than Chelsea's and Man Utd's right back. I don't rate Belletti defensively and Brown has done well, but he isn't as good as Arbeloa. Neville is better, but has been injured for so long, and is getting on it's hard to see much of a future for him at the top. Next season could be his last in my opinion.

To stay on topic. Lennon would be a useful asset to our team, but not as a starter in my opinion. Obviously he would start some games, but i don't think he is enough to drastically improve us our main right winger. I think we should be aiming for people like Quaresma, Simao etc. Or sticking Babel there and going for someone like David Silva or Malouda on the left. That's the quality we need to close the gap on Chelsea and Man Utd. Not Lennon.

Word on the street is that the guy hates London and is homesick for the north.Perhaps a move closer to home will help him turn in some of his performances that got him into the England team.

I don't think Ramos would cry himself to sleep if he loses Lennon. He'd get decent money in return to find a replacement.

If I didn't have an opinion I wouldn't voice it...and that doesn't make sense anyway...just because my thoughts are different doesn't mean I don't have a valid opinion.

If the subject was "Will Gerrard leave for Madrid" and you come out with "Just get Rafa out of the club", then that isn't having a view, or isn't voicing a view.

It isn't that your thoughts are different, it's that they often aren't about the topic (and instead about Benitez). If they weren't then they would be welcome.

I think this topic is dead... the discussion revolving around either lennon will leave or wont leave, mixed with the Liverpool formation and whether rafa should stay or go (yawn!) has done its round...

maybe just put like a vote thing:

where does aaron lennon's future lie?

a) Tottenham
b) Liverpool
c) man city
4) somewhere else

or something like that!

Lennon thinks hes a little gangster, ive heard so many stories of him this season acting the clown out on the turps thinking hes gods gift to football and the world.

Doesnt have the right attitude, doesnt want to improve. Jog him on.

Aaron Lennon - Could he be leaving WHL ?
