As we go into the 2 week International break Southampton sit proudly at the top of the Championship.

I didn't expect the Saints to do so well after winning promotion up from League 1 so fair play to them.

I have been a little disappointed with West Ham especially with our home form and hope to see a big improvement.

So how is your team doing at the moment and what is your over all view of the table after the opening 10 fixtures?

Surprise team for me have been The Boro...............Mogga is doing an amazing job with little resource to pick from.

The guy has got his team well organised and they remain unbeaten in the league.

Me neither. I personally can't stand the bloke and there are many rumblings of discontent over the way he is currently handling things at Portsmouth as well.

That win over Burnley only moved us up one place, but it is a relief to be moving up the table gradually and putting points on the board after that horrendous run of form that saw us mixing it with the bottom three not so long ago.

We aren't going anywhere this season but it would be nice to be in the upper echelons of mi-table, never too far away from making a break for the playoffs.

So frustrating looking at that.

As I said in the Reading-Soton game thread, we have had two home games this week against Derby and Southampton and should have easily taken six points that would have put us level on points with West Ham in 4th, but instead dodgy defending has cost us dearly and two draws mean we remain in 15th.

Sad to see Forest where they are, they have had a couple of seasons in the playoffs but have never quite got there. Now it seems their window is closing, long way to go though.

I doubt Nottingham Forest will make the play offs now this season but their new
manager Steve Cotterill has done well since taking over and they could be in for a top 10 finish.

It looks like the players before didn't believe or have any faith in Steve McClaren and cost him his job!
