ottmar hitzfeld- hearts

german manager ottmar hitzfeld has said he has turned down the chance to manage hearts football club.

the german has been out of work for a while after leaving german champions bayern munich and he has stated a desire to return to management.

however, hitzfeld does not want to take over at the edinborugh club.

Heart's are really messed up at the minute! I don't really think he would be suited in the SPL anyway, they need more of a gritty manager who is not afraid to fight his opponents. Some of the league 1, Championship manager would be excellent choices or maybe one from another Scottish team would be lured by the promise of money to spend. I just think that the thought of Scottish football isnt really appealing to flashy European coaches, they want a team in the spotlight.
