Liverpool stunned Blackburn at Ewood Park as they scored a injury time winner thanks to Roy Carroll...the 3-2 win gave them only their 2nd win in 9 games and manager Kenny Daglish was quick to say after the match.." it was no more than we deserved" .

West Brom beat QPR 1-0 and manager Roy Hodgson was please to say after the match " We did well and I'm full of praise for the way my team dug in. That's two home wins, which makes it a good Easter for us.I thought when we beat Blackburn we were safe, but with this win we are mathematically safe."

Laughing Laughing

the last i heard he was playing for some Scandanavian team.

anyway, i'd love for Hodgson to come away with this victorious after the way Dalglish plotted behind his back to steal his job.

however, now west brom are safe it can be 'foot off the pedal' time which will mean that the home win is most likely. hopefully west brom will have a bit more about them than that though.

Hodgson has already beaten Dalglish on the reverse leg of this if I'm not mistaken.

You betcha!
How sweet that would be ,but i can't see it. In fact i don't know why WBA are not in the relegation battle.

sorry, but Manuni vs Everton is over though.
I won´t tell you the score, if you have not seen it yet.
Chelsea vs Liverpool 2 games between them. Perhaps, your team may take it easy in the league game ?
That way, Chelsea may finish 4th.

Result

Sunday April 22nd

Liverpool 0 - 1 West Bromwich Albion
0-1 Odemwingie 75’

Revenge for Roy Hodgson after the disgraceful way he was treated by Liverpool fans when he was manager there.

Any comments on todays result?

Roy Hodgson left Liverpool for West Brom who were 17th, and promptly took them to an eventual 11th place finish.
Now they are 10th.
Roy is a genius.
Roy for England!

Liverpool had 30 attempts on goal to WBA's 9

We hit the woodwork twice again

and had 3 cleared off the line

And still ended up losing Laughing

Our luck has to change one day surely
