Malaga have signed Argentine striker Javier Saviola from Benfica on a 1 year deal.

Gio Dos Santos has joined Mallorca from Spurs and Roque Santa Cruz is in Malaga having a medical.

Micahel Essien joining Real Madrid on a season long loan from Chelsea was a surprise!

Los Blancos also sold Lassana Diarra to Russian club Anzhi for 5 million euros where he will link up with Samuel Eto'o.

Will post all the major deals that were done in La Liga during the summer in the next few days.
