And the first game of jubilee 50th season of Bundesliga was won by Borussia Dortmund. Current German champions beat Werder Bremen at Signal Iduna Park 2:1. The first goal was scored by brand new Borussia's midfielder - Marco Reus. But then we saw another goal of Bundesliga's rookie - Theodor Gebrie Sellasie, who did very well in EURO 2012 tournament. His great form on Polish pitches resulted the transfer to one of the best leagues in the world. It was 75th minute and fans of Dortmund could be a bit disappointed. But 6 minutes later one of their biggest stars, Mario Götze, has scored just after getting onto the pitch.

Borussia Dortmund 2 - 1 Werder Bremen
1:0 Reus 11'
1:1 Gebre Selassie 75'
2:1 Götze 81'

So far, traditionally, Borussia on the lead in the table. But there are still many games to be played this weekend. Maybe in these 2 day we will experience a new dark horse of the season, the same as M'Gladbach last year?

That was a good start to the season for Dortmund - I think Marco Reus will have a great season.

Saturday's results:

Borussia Mönchengladbach 2 - 1 TSG Hoffenheim
1:0 Hanke 33'
1:1 Firmino 66'
2:1 Arango 79'

Hamburger SV 0 - 1 FC Nürnberg
0:1 Balitsch 66'

Eintracht Frankfurt 2 - 1 Bayer Leverkusen
0:1 Kiessling 30'
1:1 Aigner 57'
2:1 Lanig 82'

SC Freiburg 1 - 1 FSV Mainz
1:0 Kruse 49'
1:1 Ivanschitz 65' (penalty kick)

Greuther Fürth 0 - 3 Bayern München
0:1 Müller 43'
0:2 Mand¿ukiæ 59'
0:3 Robben 79'

And the series of great debuts in Bundesliga still goes on. Mario Mandzukiæ, a star of Croatian national team at EURO 2012, had a great first match in German league. His goal helped Bayern beat Greuther 0:3 and take the lead in the table. Borussia M'Gladbach supporters can be happy and stop worrying about Marco Reus. A dark horse of Bundesliga's last season won against Hoffenheim and still seems to be very strong crew in Germany.

Sunday's result:

VfB Stuttgart 0 - 1 VfL Wolfsburg
0:1 Dost 90'

What a lucky opening game for Wolfsburg. German champions of 2009 beat VfB Stuttgart owing to Dost's goal in 90th minute. It was the only goal in that match.
